maybe tempera! that's what i was thinking of. it doesn't look like oil or anything high quality.

hmmm, i could be wrong about the acrylic, just figured it was because i thought maybe oils for painting were expensive for artists to come by down there, and this wasn't pricey. it was indeed rolled up tightly though. i guess i should just leave it as is...i def. don't have a bunch to spend on it. it's just a shame! thanks.

i bought a painting in cuba, i think it's acrylic paint. this was just at a street market so not expensive, but to my surprise they pull the canvas off the frame and rolled it up and gave it to me like that. it's an impressionistic painting and there is thick paint in some spots. anyway when i unrolled it the paint was all cracked. any suggestions on how to fix this or how much it might cost to get repaired/restored and what it entails? it's not a huge deal, it will still look OK from a distance, you can only see the cracking up close. but i'm worried the paint might start to flake off as well, now that it's cracked. thanks!

well doug is the most honest person you'll ever meet, and he would never take credit for something that wasn't his. maybe you've noticed that a lot of bluegrass songs have similar sounds and themes...so i don't doubt you've heard something similar.

i asked him to drive me to a late-night drugstore so i could get lice shampoo to kill all the lice i had just discovered in my hair. that was pretty embarrassing, hehe he did it though and even helped me comb out the lice. the rest as they say is history....hahaha LOL

that looks like our setlist... what an awesome show. i loved it! my first one in an arena not a bar, so my expectations were adjusted before going in but i was totally impressed. i LOVE the new album and love the new tunes live. YER NOT....THE OCEAAAAAN!! the first half of the show was nothing crazy...songs were well played, i had a good time, but nothing stellar, though nice song choices. lame ottawa crowd as per usual, people in the front row on the floor barely even moving! damn i woulda been rocking out down there. we were high up top but had a good view (moved from our original obstructed view seats). but anyway, when 100th meridian was played, things got kicked up to a whole new level and the show started seriously rocking. i jumped up and down and we danced our asses off for the rest of the show. in fact when we got home i danced for another 2 hours cuz i was so psyched about it! great show.

i think he'll get rehab and a fine though i have no idea really
