Last year they won a ton of games even with Burnett and Halliday out from time to time. With both of them healthy and Chacin being healthy theyll have a solid first three guys. The next 2 are toss ups and might suck, but by no means will be as bad as Towers was. I would really love to see them ink a sloid reliever or two, but to go after Johnson seems rather silly. Then again, he'd be a great, extremely overpaid fourth starter.

Not sure I understand this.... Top 2 teams in each division, get the top four playoff spots in the Conference. The next four spots go to the teams with the highest points from both divisions in the conference combined. Is that correct? Total of eight teams. Seems much the same as today. I think it means that the top two teams will be seeded 1-2, unlike today where the Habs are currently sitting in fourth. Its a good idea. They should also go back to naming the divisions after people, but they wont. The nets are fine, they should just leave the stupid things alone. I find that some of your criticism (ZERO) comes in the form of cheap insults, often having nothing to do with the music. I have never read anything you have shared with us that actually says "these guys are horrible musicians" or "their songs are immature, the lyrics are weak, or they just plain cant play." If I were to go by your word Id probably go to a show you've reviewed thinking, well, this guy said the singer was really gay, so I dunno... That being said, as someone who fancies himself a musician, I sometimes take issue with your writing because mostly: you claim to have a higher sense of appreciation for the arts, but then in the same breath, completely disregard the artistic element and complexity of any said group and offer jabs to their image instead. To me, this completely dis-credits your opinion. This is what Ive gotten from at least a couple of your pieces. I havent read them all, but frankly, its because of first impressions.
