I hate when I go to Tim Hortons and there's two cash's on the go, but one line that starts 7 ft back from either till. How is ordering a coffee anything like using an ATM?!?

I interpreted Marco's post as saying JT is entertainment, and hes good at it, to say hes not is to render Entertainment "worthless". Im not saying hes bad, Im saying his form of entertainment bites, and is so incredibly overblown with hype and hysteria that it aint worth the hard earned dollar you've earned to spend on it. The same goes for most big-venue shows. Its all hype. Dude's just a dude. Were all a bunch of suckas for the next big thing. If thats what entertainment is, it aint worth it to me.

In away, I know exactly what you mean. I dont think JT is the answer however, but thats just me.

I saw the CSNY show this summer and wasnt all that thrilled with it. It would be one thing if they toured and didnt ask an arm and a leg, but they do, and thats the nature of the best. The thing that pissed me off about the CSNY show though, is that they went on an anti-capatalism rant to a sold out crowd at the ACC.

Every one who plays the ACC has some sort of talent or they wouldnt be playing it. Im gonna go post this in that other thread as something that annoys me: People who insist on pointing out that JT has talent. Big fuckin whoop! Hey you know who else has talent? The Wiggles.

Ya, I love Dryden too, but even he admits, the puck was in the other end for most of the game. Roy didnt even have half the team Dryden did. Except for when he played for Colorado, but even then...

Really then, the bottom line is that most sports media personalities are annoying. Why I keep listening, I dont know. Howard Berger? Doofus. Bill Waters? I could write a book. Ahhh...ya know what show I do like? They keep it fun and get the athletes talking like real people - Best Damn Sports show. I dont watch it all the time, but when I do, its great. A couple of weeks ago they had Keyshon Johnson and Michael Strachan on and it was awesome. They showed clips of Johnson crying and Strachan just howled and made fun of him. Thats the stuff Im talkin about!

I dont know what in the hell happened, but after the opening ceremonies, the game dissapeared! I think they played the new Doctor Who or something. Quesse-que fuck? Anyhow, I met Dryden in 94, hanging around the local ball park. His son was pitching and he was watching the game. My coach was there and introduced me to him cuz I was wearing a shirt with the front page of the Gazette on it that had Roy holding the Cup. Dryden said, Nice shirt, then signed the top right corner. My mom, subsequently washed the shirt months later. Ahh well.

Fair enough. And I love the way Bobcat deals with his callers. Especially Leaf fans. Infact, his whole take on the Leafs is hillarious (yet true).

Its not that Wilner is an idiot, he actually knows some stuff, its just the way he comes accross - hes a know it all. Sometimes some callers have some good points and he responds to them like their imbiciles. Its like hes all high and mighty cuz he landed the Jays talk gig. Thats why I've started to notice how wrong he is, especially in his predictions, he's a pompuos ass who thinks he knows everything. But then, again, I probably come across the same way myself at times.

Last year Wilner talked down to every caller that said Russ Adams sucked. That alone is enough to call him a twit. Im still on the fence with Campbell, as theres no way he compares to the Sunday night team, but I dont find him annoying...yet. Sportsnet Connected is a joke.

I just thought of a good one: Have a bunch of jack-asses sitting around a living room looking real bored-like. Then have a dude walk in with a smile on his face. Then cut to everyone laughing hysterically with balloons in their hands. Then have the little aisle sign pop up that reads, "Kitchen supplies, aisle 11." It'd make me shop there.
