IF you weenies ever played hockey you'd know the difference between a suspendable act, and something that just happens in the game.

The way penalties are called these days, that probably should have been a penalty. I just get sick of everyone jumping on the "He needs to be suspended" bandwagon lately (not that anyone here said that, just the internet in general). It's fuckin hockey, these boys are tough, and I GUARANTEE the little play did not hurt Varlamov.

He barely touched him. And kudos to Varlamov for sticking with the play and not flopping like 90% of the goalies in the league would in the same situation.

About Rios' power potential - did you see his HR yesterday?! He looks like a 50 HR guy when he hits them...he just doesn't hit them enough. I can't remember a player who looked so natural hitting bombs, but can't do it even semi-consistently. What a weird guy.

The coastal drive is really amazing. And then of course the Redwood forests in California are a must while your doing it too. Have fun, it really is beautiful.

If this is true, it's just another example of Retardy putting his personal feelings ahead of what's best for the team. Even if Accardo is lazy and difficult to manage, why not bring him up, let him pitch, put some decent numbers together and put him on the trading block? Unless his skill has declined so dramatically that it's not an option, I'd say what do they have to lose?
