Well then, there you have it. What a bunch of fuckin' wankers. (Seriously? I'm sure it wasn't as prevelant, but I guess there's no real proof to say it wasn't).
  2. Habs played a great game last night - def well enough to win. Nice stop by Price on Ovie in the first 5 minutes. Edit to add: I missed Ovie's goal last night, looks like he more than made up for being robbed:
  3. Well, doesn't the old saying go something like, "That (bill) is so stupid, a monkey could have written it"? And then wasn't there a fairly publicised case the other day of the cops having to shoot a chimp for attacking it's owner's friend? Still, way too risky to print.

Im pretty much convinced that everyone from that era was doing something they shouldn't have been doing. As much as I love Delgado as a player and would like to think he was clean, I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if it came out that he wasn't. It's hard not to be jaded at this point. Which is why I think all records should stand. Baseball fucked up, if they can fix it now, good on them.
  5. Raps trade O'Niel for Marion and Banks http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3905146 (for some reason this an insider story on ESPN)
  6. You want bad luck? In a survivor pool at work I drew "Sierra." She's a model who didnt even try out for the show, but was approached by a producer to be on it. There goes my 5 bucks
  7. Id like to change my answer to #2 to Prince.

Turns Out Craig Counsell Was Actually Best Baseball Player Of Steroid Era NEW YORK—After the records of players who used performance-enhancing drugs are carefully removed, statistics provided by the Elias Sports Bureau indicate that lifetime .255 hitter Craig Counsell was the best player of the past 15 years. "If you judge them on the basis of pure physical ability, you're left with Craig Counsell," said ESB representative Patrick Wondolowski, adding that Counsell's 35 career home runs narrowly beat out Quinton McCracken's 21 and pitcher Glendon Rusch's three. Upon hearing the news, broadcaster Bob Uecker lauded the Brewers utilityman as "one of the best I ever saw, if we're talking about those who I can say without a doubt never took steroids. He came this close to stealing a base off of Ivan Rodriguez, and I swear I heard him foul tip a Roger Clemens fastball. The kid could flat-out steroid-free play. One time he was playing third base and he caught a Rafael Palmeiro line drive—just caught it, right in his mitt." When asked about his Hall of Fame chances, Counsell dodged the question by asking if anyone had a few bucks so he could go buy a sandwich.
  10. I always loved this stuff: But I dig Booche's idea with the Golden Grahams. These days though, I find I really enjoy Muslix-type cereals. Boooooring.
  11. Move over USA and your "Dream Team", Canada is about to get the Red Rocket!! Dave Feschuk: "...the Red Rocket, as the carrot-topped TTC enthusiast is still known, is leading the NBA in three-point shooting percentage. And Canada's national team can only hope he scores his citizenship before this summer's qualifying tournament for the 2010 world championship. (Bonner, a native of New Hampshire who makes his off-season home here with his wife, Nadia, who is from the Beach, is in the process of applying for a Maple Leaf passport and reiterated his hope to play for the new flag)."
  12. Who's the brunette second from the left? He's hot.
  13. Did you ever see the video, Wayne Gretzky: Above and Beyond? It's pretty cool. I watched it a billion times when I was a kid.
  14. What kind of a jerk would use that against you guys? That goes beyond normal name calling. There's no way I would ever exploit that for my own sick enjoyment. (your the best Ollie)
  15. In the FAQ for TN it does say though that tickets are transferable, which caught me by surprise. http://www.ticketsnow.com/info/faq.html#ticketsdifferentname But ya, that's weird.
