  1. Definetely check out The Tub. Absolutely beautiful. A must see for sure. Walters Falls is fairly neat, and if you head to the top of Mountain Rd. on Blue Mountain you can look down on the town of Collingwood and see that the street lights of the town were originally placed to spell COLLINGWOOD. Pretty cool actually.

    I just read

I watched a documentary on CBC a couple years back with that exact same title. It was very well done. Therefore, the book must be better. I'll go on the hunt.
  4. I guess I can keep havinbeers despite what the girlfriend says. Thanx for being there for me Cliff!

    BEER!!

I grew up in and around the Hockley Valley. It's a damn good stout for sure. Nice and bitter. Try a Beamish if you get a chance it's also a tasty beverage.
  6. Huge error on their part. I will remain silent from hear on out and let it be known that I am a Vancouver fan so feel free...I can take it.
  7. I am no Kanada Kev. What I have read of his posts I've found that his cynisism far exceeds that of mine. You could say it's similar to the relationship between Alfredsson and Spezza. Jason: "Hey Dan, can you teach me how to have a fantastic regular season and choke in the first round of the playoffs? Pretty please." Daniel: "Well Spezz, you lil playmaker you, it takes alot of gull. But always keep one thing in mind. The owners are the only ones that profit from the playoffs our salaries finished at the end of the regular season. So fuck up in the first round and that leaves you all the time for endorsing shitty products. It's a win win situation."
  8. [color:purple]Maybe Vermette can talk with Cory during his soccer game next week.
  9. Early Monday evening, I saw a few young go-getters marching down Rideau St. all decked out in sens paraphenila. Being a rather laid back modest fella, I just didn't have the heart to tell them the reality of it all. However, they were young and naive. Just turn off your televisions and all of your lights and have a few hours for planet earth. Why waste your time and precious energy for the inevitable bitter taste of shameful defeat and embarassment? Please....Think Of The Children! They are the future. Maybe there's a little Crosby or Ovechkin floating out there in Ottawa. Spare the energy so he can put on his skates and be proud one day.
  10. Getta town you!! Sorry I signed a year lease.
  11. I'm going to go and sit on my front porch and listen to the faint sound of the Sens' mascot buffing their clubs. While havinbeers of course.
  12. Guest list? How does one go about attaining such a prestigious honour?
  13. I'd rather have had snow' date=' but the soil/grass seed mix I spread on bare spots last night will love this weather (I hope). [/quote'] Great time to throw down grass seed. Good job on that phish taper. The only better time of year is in the fall just before the snow hits. I was hanging off the Bell building in the rain on Friday cleaning windows. Cold Rain and Snow 150ft. in the air. I'm getting a new job, eff this. Off to finish up the outside of a new Good Life fitness in about an hour then I'm coming home, 'havinbeers', listening to tunes, and doing my own windows.

  17. http://www.jambands.ca/sanctuary/showtopic.php?tid/246023/ Looking forward to this. They are playing Montreal the next night also.
  18. I'm not too big on Oasis but I really like Bryan Adams. The girlfriend and I are ordering tickets Friday. Scotiabank is only a hop skip and a jump from my place too. I can almost hear the Sens getting eliminated from the playoffs already.
  19. If you had your choice of any shoes in the world what type of shoes would you wear?
