  6. Mourning what is lost, celebrating what is gained... two sides of the same coin... I know that doesn't answer your question... puzzles me too... I'm a big suck...
  7. Agreed. Having said that, I wouldn't want three copies of the same email...
  8. Record away!!! Really looking forward to this. The dog and cat combo is always one of my favourites!!

  12. Looking forward to getting my freak on! Gotta love that Halloween energy..
  13. Not exactly k-dub, but Todd and I are getting married next summer at the Maplewood Discovery Centre. It is located in the Dundas Valley Conservation Area (Hamilton). Has an outdoor chapel under a canopy of trees, and a hall that can accomodate up to 130 people. It's beautiful.
  14. Now that's class!! I was just listening to Elton the other day... he's still got my respect... Nonetheless, I think I will pass on purchasing his um... "rap" album (although I'm sure that his take on life in the hood would be very enlightening)
  15. Wasn't it the ten year anniversary of Kurt's death too? I'm sure that would have spurred some nostalgia-driven purchases. Marley at lucky number 13 eh? Larger than life in my opinion...
  16. Paisley!! Where have you been all of my life?

    East Coastin'

Good luck and safe travels! I love the east coast
  18. Hook ups are always more than welcome. We could host you at one of our campfire jams, or whatever. Actually I haven't really done any scuba diving yet, but would always be up for the challenge. We've also increasingly been wanting to get more into kyaking around the area. Anyways, keep us in mind when you decide to make some plans!
  19. Hey there. Tobermory is definitely a place worth checking out. It is a small harbour town at the very tip of the Bruce Peninsula. It is surrounded by Georgian Bay and Lake Huron, and yes it is well-known for its scuba diving opportunities. There is also two national parks in its midst (Bruce Peninsula National Park aka Cypress Lake, and Fathom Five Marine National Park). Tobermory is contained within the Niagara Escarpment Biosphere Reserve, and the Bruce Trail (which runs from Niagara all the way up to Tobermory) runs through the area. The hiking is spectacular along the escarpment which overlooks the water in many places. You can also fish, take in garden excursions, etc. Many artisans in the wider region... You can take boat tours with glass bottoms to view the sea life and many shipwrecks. Todd's family cottage is located a little south of Tobermory so we are up there throughout the year. Tobermory itself basically shuts right down through the winter, but it you are into winter recreation, there are numerous opportunities for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, snowmobiling, etc. But yeah, the summer is when things get hopping up there... big time. If you want more info on sites, attractions, accomodations, etc. Let me know. I know the area well. Check it out!
  20. Back from Tobermory, and squeezing in another lucky post. Hungover no. Sick yes.
  21. One more lucky post before I head out for the weekend! Good luck everyone, including myself!
