  2. I understand what your saying, my brother is in the British airforce and works as an aircraft mechanic on the hercs, fighters & occasionally choppers and he's filled me manytimes on cost & amount of fuel they go through. But to be honest, as a taxpayer I'd much rather be paying the bill for the burgers and fuel burned by the folks who volunteer their lives to protect our country then the hundreds of thousand dollars our politicans see fit to spend waste on themselves.
  3. 2lbs fresh ground beef (locally raised) $8 8 burgers Best deal out there.
  4. I guess when your stopping in Kenora for food while flying a helicopter you can't be to picky where you eat, especially when it comes to parking. Well, if the article had been speaking of the original style A&Ws I suppose you would be correct, but the article is quoting the resident that lived nearby the current A&W.
  5. After checking them out & seeing the date, I wondered if you were there actually. Awesome pictures that for sure. Although there is something sorta creepy when I see all the military the exact same height (pics #8,9,14,15,16 & 25) - I dunno, maybe it's just me but thats how it made me feel. Great shots regardless.

Whoa, my Zonealarm went off as soon as I opened this thread - I know mininova is known for its sketchiness, but can't say about the others. Be wary when using them. Sendspace of SBD that got removed. A bit safer then those sites I'm thinking. http://www.sendspace.com/file/s06w76

I don't know if anyone was able to grab it last night before it got taken down, but there was a SBD of 09/18 up on archive that sounded really good (recording quality), I wish I had downloaded it when I had the chance, but alas I listened to a few tracks and went on to something else. This is/was the source: Source: DSBD > ProTools > CD Transfer: CD > EAC > CDWav > Adobe Audition > Flac 09/30/2009 Notes: -- Thanks to all those involved for getting this out. -- A few issues remain. Cleaned up as best we could. -- Until we get our hands on the master, this will have to suffice. -- The end of Music is clipped - missing maybe 1 minute. -- The very end of Fire is clipped - missing maybe 10 seconds. -- A few minor tracking issues remain, but nothing major. I always enjoy listening to different forms of the band, but I'm not really sold on ths line-up just yet - not sure why - I love the songs that are being played, no question there, but its just not grabbing me, then again, I haven't done too much listening outside of whats on archive and some mp3s from that blog/site so I don't have much to go on I guess and its probally more about me & my musical interests now-a-days then it is the line-up - sounds solid though, so I have nothing to complain about

  9. I always wore a mask while welding, then again I'm an electrician so I hardly weld. I did however try to braze my fingers together back in 91 at a welding training course I took. Good luck on the eyebrow.
  10. Just this afternoon we sat behind a car for nearly the entire green, beeped horn and buddy snapped-to and drove (slowly, but at least forward), when we got to where two lanes opened up the driver at least got into the right lane thankfully, but as we passed him we noticed he had a dashboard (above radio area) televison on.

    Bill C-15

For folks who haven't been following this stuff, bill C-15 is a reincarnation of bill C-26 that the conservatives proposed in late 2007. Just a heads up for those interested in reading up on it all. Here's a video of Mr. Nicholson (who introduced bill C-15 earlier this year) refusing to answer Libby Davies, when asked to present evidence that mandatory minimum sentences work for drug crimes
  12. I dunno how many folks read his blog, but, in his own words, this is why he made the deal with the US for the time & charges he's recieving. I guess it doesn't explain a whole lot in terms of the discussion ya'll are having here (eg: US jurisdiction and USPS etc), but I found it to be an interesting read and figured it was worth posting. 13. Blue sky behind a building I believe is a carbon black production facility which is struggling to make the monthly quotas, causing numerous layoffs and eventually will be sold to an American buckshot pellett company for storage.

Sorry, my FLACs are from LMA, not from Welcome To Now. I think this version sounds better anyway. http://www.archive.org/details/furthur2009-09-19.101516.nakguy.flac16

Someone pointed that out in the comments. I downloaded the FLACs and they have Rider, give me a few minutes and I'll upload an mp3 of it for you.

    yayyyyyy God

For the record, what had me laughing was "warlocks are enemies of god - had it been in the old testament harry potter would have been put to death" It is scary (in a uncomfortable way) that children are taught like this.
  20. Remember the good ol' days when orientation was part of school? (PE class for me) I still have the compass and have used it several times while canoeing & camping the crownlands.
  21. While I don't care for kayne's music or any of that genre really - did he blatantly just steal the samples or did he have permission to use them? Simple question. Because I could list numerous musicians/bands who made a lot of money of other peoples creativity.
