I don't recall the specifics, but we were talking with Doug one night at La Lunas and the topic of Emmylou & her tour at the time (might have been late 90s now that I think about it) came up and Doug told us about getting a phone call from Emmylou's people and then later speaking with her directly about auditioning and possibly playing with her, either on tour or in studio, unfortunately prior commitments kept him from being able to make it. I'm not 100% on this, but I think it was during his yearly Jamaica gigs.

I've never noticed the smell well driving, perhaps because I'm a smoker (although I can smell a cig when sitting in traffic or stopped at a light) but the exhaust fumes drive me nuts, new or old cars, I seem to smell it. Summer is bad since the windows are usually down but winter can be even worse at times. I can only imagine how bad car exhaust must be for you folks who can smell a cigarette at excess of 50kms/h considering the car exhaust is a more powerful odor. (more deadly too) Different. The roach doesn't contain a filter made from all those chemicallynastybadshit materials. You've got a tiny bit of green in there' date= tiny bit of paper, maybe a bit of cardboard as a "filter". That all breaks down quickly and easily. The one thing cigarettes and roaches have in common is they both can start fires. Throwing either out the window is a bad idea.

I just listened to that album last night, had a itch to hear Hickory Wind. I like her traditional country style, but her country-rock has always been my favourite. I've always wondered how Emmylou and Doug Feaver would sound toegther for that one. Crazy thing is, it almost happened when Doug had an invite to audition for Emmylou in the early 90s

I dont have any good info, but a quick youtube search turned up this video, a "commercial" for the Ottawa show(s). They mention the show, Nobunny, and the White Wires (Ottawa's Beatles?)
