is everybody elses copy working? (video and audio?) if the file is having touble as described above then maybe thats why utorrent is not allowing me to download? i just don't get it... i've never had this problem before.

thanks for the trade offer. i may take you up on that but i would like to figure out why it's not working on my utorrent. i'm using the link posted in this thread as well as through BitChe but it keeps saying "invalid torrent file" if you're having trouble playing the mpeg file i would try VLC media player. i have yet to find a format that it won't play.

not a great capture in what way? i'm getting frustrated trying to get it to download, maybe it's not worth the hassle?

i've been having touble getting the torrent to download. utorrent keeps saying it is an invalid file. does anyone know of other seeds than pirate bay, or an idea of what might be wrong? i noticed pirate bay suggests using azureus (sp?) but would that exclude using utorrent? any help would be appreciated

i'm just trying to use a photo from my cache. my questions have to do with mainly the hosting elsewhere (don't get it) and image size . is there a way to compress images to fit the max size you allow or what? sry for being ignorant but i need a tutorial. apparently i'm not alone.

this is a bit off topic but, since you were talking about hosting pics on other sites; i thought i'd ask. i've been having trouble making my avatar work (as you can see to the left). could anyone explain how to make this work? i'm not the most tech savvy person and would appreciate any help.

I'm still trying to find an article I once ran across in the journal for the Canadian Society for the Study of Religion on those guys in the red bus - the Messianic Jewish communalists who's pick up all those ultra-tripping folks out in the parking lots. for altenatives i would reccomend a little program called BitChe. it can be found at: http://www.download.com/Bit-Che/3000-2166_4-10543409.html it's like google for torrent streams. the only time i've had ANY touble with downloads has been with BitTorrent(ext) sources. other than that , this little app. has worked amazingly for me. peace -killa-

the woman prof. would be Rebecca Adams who i believe is one of the main speakers at this conference. she's VERY intelligent, i've heard her speak a few times on radio programs. i think she is the firt person to bring grateful dead culture into mainstream academia with a sociology course at uNC. hey master tonin are you headed to gratefulfest as well you luck y bugger? i am very jealous of all y'all. as far as having another night out at the OD farm this year? .... i'd have to say it's a definite possibility. we really are only doing this one because unlike the rest of the dhead world, WE"RE NOT going to gratefulfest. lol we usually do have it later in the summer so yah, i'll keep you fine folks posted. i will say that this weekend will be featuring a brand spankin' new copy of: Grateful Dead at the Kesey's Creamery Benefit, Oregon 1972. very tasty indeed.so anyway hope to see some of you on saturday. peace -killa-
