  1. yeah i don't get it he goes on what could be considered a marxist rant all the while he's a staunch libertarian. i presumed he was referring to corporate greed in the above passage but it couldn't be if he wishes to abolish income tax. must be big government he refers to then. i would be all for the guy if he simply killed the fed without further privatising education and health care...too much offers up a mixed message i think
  2. lol some of these kids look like they are marketing damage this is new can i make money off this? never got the chance to riot as a kid ya know i think a couple of houses got wrecked back in the day never got to riot though let's get these kids signed and they can go stupid shit national international well international would be tough we just don't riot enough in ontario toronto was a start but shit they asked for it there was no riot then police response then riot response thing it was police response to nothing then riot i guess i don't really want a riot in ottawa there is more than enough security already don't need rile that up and it's only an hour and a half to montreal
  3. right back 'atcha for showing me the way with trampled by turtles a few months ago
  4. i've not heard anything negative yet. to the positive though many bethel homeowners have allowed camping on their lawns with lots of bbq and refreshments available.
  5. that larrivee sounds great by the way
  6. i'm sure you can BwG if the sun would come out one of these days i just might get enough work in to start to think about shows in septemeber
  7. very cool for ottawa too with the two coreys glover is real good with getting a crowd up and at 'em
  8. o'connells on wellington just up from the carleton has open acoustic jam on sunday and open stage saturday with some very talented individuals in attendance. the musicians tend to outnumber the audience. would happily join in on althea if you graced the pub got half step rider and baby blue in my rep down there and i would always like more dead. andy mason of four way street likes to spring the odd dead on people down there as well when were lucky enough to have him show up. tiny place but fun
  9. his values are very out of step with a majority of canadians by and large there are only a handful of folks out there who follow his philosophy get to know Strauss Canada cause ya' just gave his most successful student the keys well maybe wolfowitz is still considered more successful however he was always appointed, never elected. steve-o has to be one upping him on that one.
  10. joey santiago isn't the focal point he's a definite part of the band #13 is a timeless work and that's what i think about that it's even got a jam on the end lol couldn't stop smiling from that point on i hope they are touring a new album the next time i see them
  11. curious as to the formulas defining dynamic pricing would this result in ticket prices for the pixies at the civic centre being reduced and some senators matchups going through the roof? perceived sellout rates over time plus actual sales equals percentage increase in price lol wow consumer protection has gotta trump this are concert tickets like oil speculation i think i might be staying local
  12. i'll bet he's also one who will regret his actions at some point i love the no filming quote though...they won't give that shit up. if there was an oc pepper spray specialist on board the person would've gotten sprayed for not handing over the camera. this is over the issues with the algonquin kids a few years ago. two years ago i was straightarmed for trespassing by an oc pepper spray specialist while i was out jogging and i demanded they call police. while i was waiting they kept asking me if i photo evidence of the event and i asked why i would tell him one way or the other. the response was that it was illegal to film on oc transpo property. most awesome interrogation ever.
  13. good then it's been quite some time since the dominion chalmers show...they get a different room everytime they come up here.
