  1. Thanks everyone, especially Holly. That was sweet. There should be a law against how busy I was at work today.
  2. If only I had a Wii........oooooh, I get it! Count me already in.
  3. Great game, nice tying goal by Chicago.
  4. Great timing to end the ball game during the 2nd intermission. It's almost as if it were paid for.
  5. A big "thank you" to the Toronto Blue Jays for this great start. I am sure I will appreciate it even more come next hockey season when RDSHD kicks in.

  8. Happy belated you sexy bastard.
  9. GLORY GLORY! Anyone else notice how TissueMan shutthefuckup pretty quickly in this thread? Thickair also became suspiciously quiet on PT over the past few months. Thank you Rafa for the TSN Turning Point on this season. Next time, maybe you will also have learned to shutthefuckup and not give any added determination to the squad you are going head to head with. Brilliant managing, twat.
  10. CINCINNATI (AP)—Oh-oh, Ocho. The Bengals’ top receiver has yet another name. The NFL had agreed to let the player formerly known as Chad Johnson wear his new name on the back of his jersey this season. There’s one catch for the receiver: It’s not exactly how he wanted it. Instead of Ocho Cinco, he’ll be Ochocinco. The receiver legally changed his name in Florida last August. He asked the league and the media to call him Chad Ocho Cinco, a two-word nickname he had adopted referring to his No. 85. The Bengals complied, but the NFL balked. It said the receiver would have to pay for the large inventory of “Johnson†jerseys that Reebok stocked for the season—ones that would be a tough sell—before he could switch. The receiver declined, choosing to play the season under his old name. The league has agreed to let him wear his new name this year, but it will be rendered as “Ochocinco†because that’s how he wrote it when he submitted his name-change form in Florida. “It’s his legal name,†AFC information manager Corry Rush said Thursday. The receiver said last year that he wanted his name to be “Ocho Cinco.†Neither he nor his agent returned phone messages Thursday to discuss the name being one word instead of two. He was still selling shirts and other gear under the “Ocho Cinco†name on his Web site.

  12. In a word? [color:purple]Yes. Hahaha. Seriously though, all kidding aside, being a MTL fan I cant stomach watching this latest edition of the Bruins play (no offence), especially after they so easily dominated Les Brahs in the previous round. I am sure the same would hold true for some of their fans had the roles been reversed. I flipped to that game to see the score and not 5 seconds later Lucic tied it up. I thought I was going to faint. Lucic constantly destorys little bits of my soul but last night, that was it for me. I wouldnt have been able to take any more.
  13. Werder and Mortensen report that Favre has consulted with legendary orthopedist James Andrews to consider options for completing the partial tear of the biceps tendon in his right arm. This non-surgical procedure conceivably would eliminate the pain he has had in his arm since the end of last season. Another option is a tenotomy, where doctors would surgically complete the tear. But the ESPN report suggests Favre might not be interested in even that mild procedure. The evidence continues to point to this sequence of events: 1 - Minnesota wants him to play quarterback in 2009. 2 - Favre is considering the possibility. 3 - Favre needs to do something to the tendon to allow him to make it through the year. 4 - Favre isn't interested in some of the options available to him.
  14. That's because you are superstitious. I have a direct impact on games.
  15. First off, I had already watched the Det-Ana game and wasnt watching Boston. I went to it after the first game, Lucic scored to tie it (which wasnt close to overtime at that point) and I knew it was my fault. I despise the Bruins and wanted them out, hell I dont even enjoy watching them play! So I didnt want to jinx anything and decided not to watch. Guess what happened you dumb fuck? Carolina knocked them out. No Hal on my part. You're welcome Cane lovers.
  16. I despise this edition of the Bruins and love seeing them falter. I had to stop watching when they tied it up because I wouldnt have been able to witness them win. Oh my sweeeeeeeeeet Carolina!
  17. Hey Thumper.......those Yankees fans make a good point.
  18. Are you sure about that Jaimoe? I've had fans try to sell me otherwise. Using an original set would be cool asfuckin its' own weird way. I cant believe how much housework I did during that game.
