  7. I wonder if this is going to be mentioned by any media....
  8. R.I.P. Neil Hope a.k.a "Wheels" on Degrassi Jr. High Just found out on Facebook via one of his high school friends. He's been missing for years, and his family just found out he died back in 2007... He was estranged from his family for such a long time, his whereabouts have been unknown until now. He apparently struggled with addiction issues but on twitter it says he died of natural causes. I used to hear about him working at Money Mart on Lakeshore & Islington in Toronto and getting upset that people recognized him from Degrassi. ....Child stardom, sounds like it's a killer.

  16. Thanks for sharing. Pugs are great. RIP Marley.
  17. In talking to people from NY music scene who's point of reference is knowing them as The Slip, they find it a bit amusing that they've been announcing themselves as 'from Montreal" so frequently that they feel it's a bit over done. I don't mind teasing them that they are fellow Canucks. Hey if it worked for Arcade Fire then I say go for it. I guess I should ask you Northern Wish, do you consider yourself from Ottawa or From the East Coast (Fredericton is it)? I was born in Toronto, lived in Montreal for 3 years as a kid, Toronto for middle school & highschool, lived 6 years in Nova Scotia then back to Toronto. I'm gonna be in NYC for 2-3 years... Still consider myself to always be a Torontonian with East Coast roots, maybe it will be cooler to say New Yorker in a year or so...
  18. thanks Sean, I'm getting into Games of Thrones, anyone deep into this one?
