  1. I know its painfully disturbing, but people need to know the truth.
  2. I think I almost slipped into a National induced coma after only one song.
  3. Heather, ya just go to TamsTams, stick to the pathway by the tree line, there are always dudes slingin' and from my experience they've always been nice and the price and quality good.

  5. Nice work Darren, fantastic article. I loved his message on Facebook which was essentially "Wrote this drunk, woke up and someone had posted it online" Glad they did, great read.
  6. He sure is. Not to mention a quick set on Friday night as well at 8:30pm right before Rock Plaza Central. He's also all over the daytime schedule http://www.ottawafolk.org/?schedule#Daytime
  7. Bahamas were great at Osheaga. Have a blast AD!!
  8. Wow, "shark-jump"? Really? I consideer "Evil Urges" to be an excellent example of a band evolving and branching out. Either way we can both agree MOF, was indeed, kick ass! So glad they're back in the studio
  9. Baby steps people. I only wish Rick Wright was still alive
  10. Grrr stupid Flickr Pavement under attack
  11. Best advice is to scan Kijiji and Craigslist for a similar product so you can determine what the current going rate is. I just sold my 30gig Video Ipod and it was only worth a little over $100 in the current market.
  12. Good call Greg, I'm listening to "Sleep is for the Week" right now I highly recommend Frank's live DVD. Seeing him solo was amazing but seeing him perform with his full band in front of a frantic British crowd puts it on a whole other level Frank Turner - Take to the Road (torrent)
  13. Thanks for the lineup, sounds like a great time as usual.
  14. Hey Todd who played this weekend?
  15. I've gone 5 times now I think and I'd be going this year too if I wasn't going to Montreal for Osheaga. There is just something intangible about Blue Skies, an energy that really stays with you all year. The music, the people, the workshops the venue...It's all truly amazing. The festival keeps a very low profile, no internet pressence at all except for some facebook pages,. Thats the way they like it and honestly it works for them. Tickets are hard as hell to get without an "in" but if your determined you can go to the gate and wait and eventually, if you're patient, you'll get in. Happy THAT OTHER PLACE to everyone who's going, have fun!
  16. Point Pleasant Park is not how you remember it trust me. It got decimated after Hurricane Juan and some kind of beetle infestation, I swear there are only about a third of the trees left. sad.
