Music starts at 1pm with a band you don't want to miss. Due to my stupidity I spent the day in the ER but in my absence the yard was transformed into one of the best ourdoor venues I've ever seen, thanks to the help of a few truly awesome individuals, thanks guys. I know not having kegs makes it harder but we got a system so you don't have to defend your cooler all day, we'll tag it and watch it and we have beer on hand to sell so no one should be beerless. So we are ready!! We got beer, food, music, sun and fun all for 10 bucks. As for the "Last Canada Day ever" comment. This is it, we're out of here as of Sept. So come pay your respects to one of the greatest houses ever built.

Greetings fellow Canadians. We've only got 24 hours to go before the big bash and everything is working out perfectly. Johnny's has decided to do a full BBQ as well as pizza with both meat and veggie options. The bands are ready to go, the weather looks amazing, the porttapotties are smelling great and the stage is finished and I think you almost see it from space. The response has been overwhelming, its starting to look like it won't be smaller this year. Sorry to all those who were trying to buy advanced tickets. Not to worry we won't run out of space, just come early if you want. We got tons of food and entertainment to keep you busy and we got extra beer if you run out and hey there is a beer store/liqueur store a 5 minute walk away, so no worries, you will be drunk! Bring whatever you want, but mostly bring your friends, your smiles and your thirsty livers. I'm going to try and set up the shed with snow for those without coolers but try and bring a cooler if you can. This is it folks the last Canada Day so lets make it the best one yet!!! Don't forget Canada Day in the yard. We got strippers and eight balls for everyone. Seriously I know there is a lot of competition this year but you know no matter how good the music is, being downtown sucks ass. Come rage with us. We just built a new stage and everything is coming along nicely.

This year will be featuring a slightly smaller version compared to previous years but expect all the same great live music and fun. The only big changes this year are: no kegs, this is going to be a bring your own booze affair, I just got off the phone with Steamwhistle and their going to hook us up with some cases for us to sell but we won't have near the volume as in previous years so by all means bring your own and if you run out come see us and we'll pound some more into ya for a cheap price. By doing this we stop the cops ability to shut us down, now its just a party. Trust me I'm not happy either I loved the keg truck last year too! On the plus side this year tickets are only 10 bucks to get in!!! And instead of doing advance tickets, we're just going to be doing bracelets at the door. If you'd like please feel free to email me back or post saying you plan on attending or if you have any suggestion or comments on the new system. I hope you're all excited, I got 6 great bands confirmed right now and Johnny's pizza is back on board to sling us slices all day. So I'm looking to buy a laptop and I realized, I have no clue what I'm doing. So I'm looking for a little advice. I want something high end to replace my current system. Hoping to spend below 1000 and I'm hoping for something with a fast processor, quality vid card and 17" screen. Anyone know who the good companies are or where a good place in Ottawa is to check out whats out there. Thanks.
