I use the internet as a resource for recipes a lot. In terms of just sitting and flipping and gathering ideas, these are my go-to books. although I admit I turn to the Moosewood books less and less over the years. The other two are my current favorites. I eat meat but Laurie doesn't so I'm always looking for good veggie plates. It's easy enough to do a small meat dish on the side for myself without much reference.

that damn song is on the radio again and it's not getting any better. This is the musical equivalent of a wet, moist paper towel. He might have more talent than some other people but that doesn't make this pap remotely interesting, memorable or listenable. Maybe he can run rings around some other guitar players but when the songs are this vapid, who could possibly care? "Time to invest in an airtank or snorkle...." good Lord! No wonder people seem to prefer his doing covers.
