  1. please, when two people post at the same time and take the same track number on the album, can the second post to show on the board please be edited accordingly? Be sure to look back at the last FEW posts before your contribution, just in case a fair entry has gotten missed. I see in this case, it has been corrected already, right on. It's no-ones fault, it's bound to happen.
  2. It's simple. Each user has to copy and paste adding only one song to the album so in the end it's 12 songs. -------------- THE TWELVE SONG ALBUM GAME RULES * each album has 12 songs; you are allowed only ONE contribution per album * you must pick a song that has been officially released. A "bootleg" recording of an unreleased song is not eligible here. * whoever finishes one theme gets to also set and start the next theme. And so on.... * previous themes may be repeated but the previous picks must be located and re-posted so that no songs duplicate themselves between different volumes. It is up to whoever sets the theme to clarify any ambiguities about it, so long as none of the basic rules above are compromised. Be sure to make sure you are editing correctly and not missing anyone's choices. Please post as "track number > artist > song title", for easier and consistent reading. Also, it helps me great in compiling this list if we could number the themes as we go. Please. Cool? --------------- THEME LIST Dates listed occasionally as reference points for searches. 1. 3. thanks - I enjoyed watching this again! Sting and Copeland look so happy! I think Sting was in great voice. Who would have thought they'd loosely jam for a couple of minutes in the middle? I was also really happy it was just the three of them.
  4. I'm sure every person in the audience and their grandmothers realized that his performance was not for them and the other 16,000 people in that building, it was for the 20 million-plus people at home watching it.
  5. this makes no sense to me. If he'd done a big dance number, people would rag on him for being all show and no depth. Dude sits down at a piano and sings a song he helped write, and now he's accused of being manipulative??? Isn't the very act of performing in front of an audience, in any manner, an attempt to project your talents?

  7. yeah, he was gritiing his teeth, kinda funny. Don't worry JT, you've got a long career ahead of ya. Mayer's album is excellent.

  14. wow, I really enjoyed that Beatles cd. Now here's my dinner-making music:
  15. about a quarter in so far - a bit hokey, but fun. Essentially a musical game of "Where's Waldo?" for Beatles freaks, and a psychedelic super-medley for more passive listeners. The technical mix is superb, very present and clear.
  16. nice employment of the term "soy bomb" there Luke!
  17. Stars, Set Yourself On Fire I can't say how much I fucking love this album. Of that loose coalition of Canuck artists that have released so many minor masterpieces the last few years (BSS, Arcade Fire, Metric etc) I think this album might be my favorite of the lot, that I've heard anyway. I love the production of this album too, sounds mint. blah blah blah.
