February 4, 2008 at 6:38 AM EST TORONTO - A subway station in east-end Toronto has been shut down after a derailment early Monday morning. The last car of a train reportedly left the track at the Kennedy station and slid into a wall at about 1:30 a.m. CITY-TV says there were passengers on board the train, but there are no reported injuries. The Kennedy and Warden stations are closed and shuttle buses have been pressed into service to ferry passengers around the closure. There is no indication yet on what caused the derailment, nor any word how long the stations will be closed. globe & mail
