Y'all should try to get there early for Katz 'n Jammers a la Ekoostik Hookah vibrations. Katz is Hookah's lead singer/keys/acoustic guitar player. I've never heard his side band but I suspect they'll please. You ever seen 'em Fisty? Looks like they're playing the main stage on Wed from 2:45-4:00pm. CAN'T WAIT!!!

Just checked their website and it looks like the closest there getting to Canada this summer is Fri June 29 | Town Ballroom, Buffalo, NY I've never seen these guys and am REALLY looking forward to this. Don't know if there's anybody I'd rather see right now.

Ya, the Montreal/Toronto shows look very appetizing! I agree that the Horseshoe is a weird booking for YMSB - I'd put my vote in for a bigger venue. My guess is that we'll need to get the elbows up if it stays at the Horseshoe.

Just bought our tickets last night and am completely psyched to be spending 4 days at this little piece of heaven on earth with a bunch of great friends and great friends to be and................ohhhhhhhhhhhhh the music!!

Yup, that's fucking nuts DB!!! That's one of the few things I don't miss about Nfld. We had toques, scarves and mitts on when we went camping in July - that's just not right!

ME TOO! Don't know if that is the reason (and I'm sure it played a role) but I didn't love the show - I may have gone in with my expectations set too high. I thought there were some great moments - pleasant surprise to hear Lonesome LA Cowboy & a really nice psychadelic jam in the first set that brought me too a nice place (it was during the song that goes "It seemed like such a good idea at the time" etc..) Didn't mind that there wasn't a drummer for the Fatties - thought they sounded great. Really nice to hear The Station - can't remember the last time I heard that!!! Great crowd - great vibe. Nice to see a whole bunch of familiar faces and a whole bunch of people out that I haven't seen in a while. Paisley, thanks for making me laugh my ass off - "I'm not going to be the guy who says, "Jerry taught you well". I'm not going to be the guy who says, "Jerry taught you well".
