  1. Well there isn't really many good seats left in HECFI's presale. And it's looking more like a full arena show as opposed to the Concert Bowl setting as HECFI's presale pulled up SEC 122 Seats which are definitely not in the Concert Bowl Seating chart.
  2. Don't get me wrong I like getting presale tickets but the whole notion is simply goofy to me nowadays. Will the HECFI presale have different seats from the Fan Club presale. You can link through to the TicketsNow website from the Ticketmaster one and it looks like TicketsNow is scalping floors off for $278 through to $600 a piece. There are still FL5 Tickets available through the NICKEL presale. This beings up another Fucked up point with this show. The Spec article claims that this is to be Concert Bowl seating. Under the Concert Bowl Seating Plan there is no FL5 section. That's only for Full Arena shows so what gives here. CONCERT BOWL SEATING CONCERT EAST END STAGE SEATING
  3. Presale Password is Nickel, Tickets are available NOW!!! 2nd Row Floors, Concert Bowl Seating. Yee Haw!!! Only Canadian Date on this Tour according to the Spec. Bob Dylan Has A Date with Copps
  4. Total BS about the presale today. The Dylan Tour Dates page has still not been updated with the presale password and I wouldnt be in the least surprised if the good seats somehow magically disappear.
  5. Presale starts in less than 5 minutes, anybody know the password for today its not up yet on the Dylan site.
  6. Hot diggety damn... Last time I saw Dylan at Copps I was more interested in the opening band, the Alarm. Mind you that was over 20 years ago. Times they are a changin..
  7. Good read, Interesting thoughts, Space Wrangler grabbed us as well. It was Vegas 94 in May and we were tooling through the lot and noticed lots of heads looking for Widespread tickets. My only reference point at the time was whatever I may have read about in Unbroken Chain or Duprees Diamond News. Anyhow it certainly tweaked my interest that heads were willing to trade Dead tickets for Spread tickets. Unfathomable in my lil mind. We got back to the Hammer and I wandered down to Cheapies and looked through that Music Database computer they used to have. Looked up Widespread and asked the kind folks to order in "Space Wrangler" and "Ain't Life Grand". The Space Wrangler disc grabbed me right away, there was something about this band that I couldnt place. It would be nearly 3 years later when we got to see our first show at the Opera House. We drove down to Florida 2 days later to catch 2 shows at the HOB and it was there, that we had that feeling and vibe from the crowd that was lost for us when JErry passed. Sure there was Furthur tour but it just wasn't quite right. All of our other head friends had gone Phishing but we never caught that bug. It was Panic in the South that made me feel that vibe again. Over the next few years we were once again planning our vacations around touring, this time it was Panic and not the Dead. Did the New Years Runs in Hotlanta, saw the Halloween shows in New Orleans and had our Honeymoon at Red Rocks. Times changed and our lives have moved on but Panic has remained a huge part of my vibe. We even drove around with WSP FAN plates for a few years. We only got to see the boys once Post Mikey, Bonnaroo 03, and are ecstatic that the band from Athens is coming north in just over a week. Wish we could do Toronto & Ottawa but I'm a family man now and Ottawa will be our show. Look for me with the biggest Shit Eating Grin ever as I dance with my wife and boys to the band that took me to a place where I can safely say that no other band has. Panic may not be for everyone but it really is that honest tune with the lingering lead that has taken me this far.
  8. You can order them now from the Converse website.
  9. Thats great, I love the Booey Song Parodies. Poor Gary gets goofed on so much on the show. Sometimes I honestly dont know how he can put up with it.
  10. Basher looks like I may have to take you up on your offer to see if Sonic Temple has any camping tickets. Rotate This definitely doesnt as my friend inadvertently bought an extra ticket to the show itself from them. They only had the GA Show Tickets.
  11. Ive sent off a couple emails to Rotate and Sonic. We'll see what they say. I appreciate the offer for picking it up. If Rotate This has them im cool as an friend who lives in TO will be up in Southampton this weekend and he can pick one up from there for us. If Rotate this doesnt and Sonic does I may have to work a deal with you if the offer is still on the table. Cheers
  12. Yes, A friendly Skank would be a friend indeed!!!
  13. I could always "Bash" a hotel in Barrie but I need access to the vehicle during the day as we will have the Twin Toddlers with us. This being a brand new venue for all us its hard to say whether or not we can come and go to our cars.
  14. Do they take phone orders??? No where near TO to grab a ticket myself.
  15. Anyone have an Extra Camping Ticket. Due to my stupidity and procrastination it appears that I can't buy a camping ticket. Ticketmaster keeps spitting back that there are none available. So does anyone have an extra camping ticket only that they are willing to sell me.

  17. Was a Good Interview. It's funny how much of a 13 yr old boy Howard really is. He gets so obsessed about f*cking and the like.
  18. CTV buys hockey night song Jun 09, 2008 03:53 PM Curtis Rush Precious Yutangco STAFF REPORTERS CTV has purchased the rights to the Hockey Night in Canada theme song. In a shock announcement just before 4 p.m. today, CTV announced the public-relations coup. Last week, Copyright Music & Visuals announced that the contract for the CBC's Hockey Night in Canada to use the song had expired at the end of this year’s Stanley Cup final. It said the song would not be used during next season’s broadcasts because a royalty deal could not be reached with CBC. CBC has scrambled ever since to save face in reaction to an outraged public. As early as this morning, CBC proposed mediation in what they said was a final attempt to make a new deal for the rights to the song. CTV owns The Sports Network, the all-sports network known as TSN. TSN broadcasts NHL hockey and CTV suggested that is where the song will be heard. The public broadcaster said this morning that it had asked sports lawyer Gord Kirke to step in after negotiations broke down last week between CBC and the company that owns the rights to the song. "We feel this song is worth one last attempt to save," Scott Moore, executive director of CBC Sports, said in a statement earlier today. "Canadians are passionate about its association with Hockey Night in Canada." Talks between CBC and Copyright Music & Visuals, which holds the rights to the song, ended Friday after the two sided failed to meet a 5 p.m. deadline. CBC then announced that it would begin a national contest to find a replacement song, awarding $100,000 to whoever can come up with the best theme as decided by fans and experts. Kirke is a professor of sports and entertainment law at York University and the University of Toronto, and is described by CBC as an expert in mediation and negotiation. Kirke is also on a search committee looking for a new management team for the Maple Leafs. The Leafs have hired Ron Wilson as coach, but still are looking for a permanent general manager to replace interim boss Cliff Fletcher. Kirke said Canadian fans have clearly expressed a preference for CBC to keep using the hockey theme song. “I welcome the opportunity of exploring means by which this can continue," he said in a statement. Last week, Copyright Music & Visuals announced that the contract for Hockey Night in Canada to use the song had expired. The national uproar that resulted – including the creation of the website savethesong.com – apparently spurred further talks last week. Under terms of the now-expired contract, CBC reportedly paid about $500 per broadcast for the rights to the song. Talks for a new deal with composer Dolores Claman had stalled over a lawsuit launched four years ago against the CBC, claiming breach of contract, particularly over the use of the song on cellphone ring tones. Last week, Moore cited the lawsuit as an impediment to reaching a new royalty agreement. Jeff Keay, spokesperson for the CBC, said today that the CBC is still pushing ahead with its national contest to select a new theme song. He said Hockey Night in Canada will incorporate the new music into the show.

  20. I attempted to watch this a couple of weeks ago when I was in England. It came on SkyDish. It never felt like it went anywhere to me. Maybe I'll have to give it another try some day. You mis-spelled the title: it's actually The Conversation (see also this description). Aloha' date=' Brad[/quote']
