One month from tomorrow, I'll be opening presents with my family, sipping champagne* as we do so.
I'm not sure whether we'll be having our traditional Christmas cake** with dinner, but I'm hopeful.
Aloha,
Brad
* Well, we usually get Henkell Troken, which probably isn't a true champagne, but it's what we like.
** Take an angel food cake, shred it into 1" (or so) cubes; melt chocolate chips, and fold into whipped cream. Combine the cake with the chocolate/cream mixture, and pour into a 9" x 13" cake pan. Let sit overnight in the fridge, covered in plast wrap, held above the cake by toothpicks.
