  1. crop, merge, buffer!
  2. yeah, i just realized the codetalkers are at PJC that night... think i'd rather walk to the show than cross the ol' international border. oh well, not a big moe. fan anyhow.
  3. i appreciate your honesty Hal. i feel the same.
  4. moe. is at artpark next wednesday. anyone going?
  5. happy day alexis! i hope your little squeak-toy is ok!
  6. planning on in. c-towns, was a glowy necklace left at your place the other night? it looks like a plastic rock (that glows) and has a magnetic clasp. thanks.
  7. oui. receiver: speaker:
  8. you can run two sets of speaker cable (or one set of 4-conductor) from a single set of terminals on your receiver. no problem... it's about having the full breadth of signal, not necessarily additional power. i do this with my centre channel, and it sings like a bird.
  9. i would, just for kicks! i think the difference is negligible, but can't hurt anyway. the reasoning goes that the hi-range drivers get a full spectrum signal, and the mid-range drivers also get a full spectrum signal.... not just what's leftover after the high-range crossover extracts the high frequencies. capiche? further, my amp has assignable channels, so i have four channels powering the two front speakers... essentially a bi-amp configuration, but more correctly called bi-wiring. weirdness is a bit of an audiophile i think, perhaps he would have some input.
  10. the spec was the only source quoted as 'concert bowl seating'. there was no allusion to any seating arrangement on the dylan site, or ticketassholes.
  11. 4 conductor is used to bi-wire, or bi-amp... you run a separate signal to each crossover within the speaker cabinet. if your speakers have two sets of binding posts, this is possible.
  12. I can't 'meh' hard enough to convey the underwhelmingness. Tom Wilson came across as a whiny artist/self-absorbed jerk... curious if Rev had the same experience. Or, was it justified due to the inept tech crew on-hand?
  13. Q: What's brown and rhymes with 'Snoop'? A: Dr. Dre
  14. yay! 3rd row ain't bad either. thanks irie guy!!
  15. just coffee and doobs over here aye.
  16. try concealing them behind baseboards. if you mount your speakers on the wall, you can still hide the wire behind the wall, between the baseboard and speaker height.
  17. go see budos bacon, they'll make you shake your pants! might have to check out it's your festival on sunday too for some April Wine... hahaha.
  18. i like his music. although the new album is kinda weak, thus the show could be weak as well... i cant say, i wasnt there. hal said it well... i dont see how he fits the bill. he would be better served playing alongside dave matthews ("something only teenage girls would fine enjoyable").
  19. havinbeers (until next wednesday). may head up to CTMF to burn stuff... or hit up da riddim riders, then lee perry! hopefully celebratin' the ageing of Schwa.!
