  1. Good stuff. I really enjoyed the show. I didn't realize they were playing on rented gear, although I thought Rob was kinda quiet.

I tried Muskoka's Mad Tom IPA on tap yesterday and I thought it was way better then from a bottle.
  3. Really fun show! Loved the Timmy opener and Kyle's was a great first set closer. The whole second set was non stop fun!

Just cracked my first beer after a month long hiatus. It tastes awesome! Crazy Canuck
  6. Atlantic City looks like a good time. 10 hour drive from Toronto. I think Spac will be my shows for the summer.
  7. Forgot about that show! That was a cool venue taboot.
  8. It's been a long time since I have seen moe. Probably a couple years ago when they were last in Toronto. I'm pumped for the show (even though it's a work night).
  9. I thought that I would never eat an unhealthier meal then the time fluffhead77 and I had a double down with a burrito supreme chaser. I think the bar has been raised.
  10. Whatever- iPhone 4. Not the 4S
  11. I went back to Apple when my phone died and they gave me a new 4G- no extended contract or anything. Worth a shot...
  12. I don't really care too much, but growing up in the 80's and 90's you can't help but to have been touched by her music. Like pop music or not, she had a voice that was pretty amazing. You don't have to love it, but there is no denying that "I Will Always Love You" is one of the better vocal performances of our generation. People feel connected to her because she has been a part of our culture. Watching how far she has fallen in the past 10 or 15 years has been nothing short of remarkable.
  13. I have another demonoid invite. Send me a pm if in need.
  14. I'm all caught up on Shameless. Love it. I just d/l'ed Homeland and I'm looking forward to checking that out.
  15. :clapclap: I really enjoyed Midnight in Paris' date=' Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and Drive recently. [/quote'] You guys are too funny. But those are all good rec's (minus hangover II). Thanks!
  16. I have taken the month of February off from drinking (OK, Feb after the Superbowl) and I'm looking to fill some time. Does anyone have some movies they would recommend checking out? I'm up for anything that isn't too scary (my wife has nightmares after horror flicks). Thanks.
  17. I just picked up tickets to this event being held at The Brickworks. This event received a lot of buzz in the fall so I want to see what it's all about. Here is a link to buy tix http://yumtum.ca/guest.html And a link to a Globe article from the fall http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/toronto/globe-to/torontos-underground-market-to-bring-gourmet-street-food-to-the-masses/article2099282/
  18. That was a great read! Thanks for sharing.
  19. Happy B-day dude! Keep up the good work.
  20. I love this recipe: http://www.foodandwine.com/recipes/orecchiette-with-cauliflower-anchovies-and-pistachios It's a great pasta dish but it does call for anchovies and chicken stock- you could easily sub veg stock but the anchovies are really add something special. Anchovies are one of the most sustainable fish out there, if that is any consolation. Super tasty and pretty quick.

    BEER!!

    Nice stuff Jakis.
  22. I was sure Daveyboy was going to post this, even before I opened the thread. I'm glad someone is picking up the slack!
  23. I like the looks of this. Jazzfest dates are often tough for me. Usually lots going on (Phish tour) and the weekends are also prime cottage time. I hope to be able to check out a few shows.
