    BEER!!

I'm looking forward to trying some of Beyond the Pale's brews. If anyone is coming from Ottawa to the GTA anytime soon, let me know and I'll pay you to mule me a growler or 4!
  2. It looks like I have six folks (incl Fluffhead77) heading to the Moonshine for Nov 30th. I've reserved a table for 10 so there is room for four more and we can likely add to that number. Let me know if you are in to sitting with us.

    BEER!!

Rossolee brought over a bunch of bombers from Great Lakes Brewery. They often release "Project X" beers- limited run stuff that is usually very interesting and tasty. This month is their Movember edition so the bottles were called "Burt's Stache" with a swarthy image of Burt Reynolds. They had a black IPA and a Kama Citra which is a crazy hopped American style IPA using lots of Citra Hops. Both were high test (over 9%, I think). He also brought a few Belgian stlye Bombers from GLB as well. Tasty stuff, only available at the brewery. Well worth the trip, if you can make it out that way.
  4. Hopefully in for an Oakville show or two!
  5. How was the show? I've yet to feel Booche's internet wrath so I'm assuming it was at least acceptable.
  6. I've seen them live a bunch and their first album is still in heavy rotation. Great album from start to finish.
  7. I highly recommend checking out this band.
  8. Go team! Great article, photos and a recording taboot! Well played.
  9. I'm curious too. Let's hear about it.
  10. Happy birthday Kev! Hope to run into you soon.
  11. I really enjoyed the show as well but I also agree with the sound issues. I was wondering if it was just my seats (underneath the balcony) but it's good to know it was a little muddy elsewhere as well. The drummer with the all girl band was pretty fun to watch.
  12. You rock. ::::commences sewing of boner holes in pants:::

    BEER!!

I'm loving Boneshaker by Amsterdam lately. It has some serious hops. I've never been an Amsterdam fan but this beer is tasty.
  14. Stand By Me Performed by various street musicians around the world. Pretty cool.
  15. Here's to another fine year lived. I hope you get your ear fucked often in the year ahead! Happy Bday dude.
  16. Yes. My first and still my favourite.
  17. Nice- I've met Jack Cakebread a couple times. Super nice guy and good wines as well. Glad you had fun!
  18. I have had some luck finding tv shows and such on Pirate Bay. I think that is still open (no invite needed). Not sure if you would find many apps there but worth a search.
  19. The album sounds very interesting. The clips I've heard are pretty cool and unique. Should be a cool show.
