  6. Just up'd this little collection of classic country for a friend. Figured I'd post the link here in case anyone was interested: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ERPOSLS4 songs missing from the below list: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OJ89Y77L
  7. Sonnez Llama Tinas Rubber Dinghy Relax
  8. Count me in for '96! (Unless I win free tix via that link ^^ )
  9. Only listened to the first three songs so far... solid! Looking forward to totally cranking it after work over a stiff drink! :susel:
  10. I'll have to check this show out! Plenty of funny topics! "The show is about four friends in their early 30's who run an unsuccessful Irish bar, "Paddy's Pub", in South Philadelphia. The series deals with a variety of controversial topics, including abortion, gun control, physical disabilities, racism, sexism, religion, the Israeli/Palestinian situation, terrorism, transsexuality, slavery, incest, sexual harassment in education, the homeless, statutory rape, drug addiction, pedophilia, nuclear proliferation in North Korea, child abuse, mental illness, gay rights, bulimia, prostitution, nazism, necrophilia and cannibalism."
  11. There's also a film of the stage production out now or coming out soon.
  12. I recently watched Johnny Got His Gun. It's the movie that Metalica used for their 'One' video. It's really something. Besides that... I've been exploring the world of mumblecore. Slow paced 20-something low budget films with slight plots and messy hair. Addictive though. The Puffy Chair, Quiet City, Team Picture... there's lots of them out there.
  13. Locate presumably the only telephone on the east coast and call keri 5 minutes 'til showtime to let him know you won't be making it to the ratatat concert and to go ahead and get rid of your ticket... CHECK!
  14. The Ratatat show was totally awesome! I can't wait to see them again. There were two opening bands that were okay. Ratatat played for an hour and a half maybe but it seemed like half an hour it was so killer! It was sold out. The Phoenix was the perfect venue for this show. Good crowd and staff. There are some vids on youtube from the show.
  15. I cancel my last post. They'll open with First Tube 1st. Do we want to organize a pool? Everyone who wants in can pay $5 and who wins gets the money. Pay up front. PayPal.
  16. I will be rolling through Guelph on the way so I'll be able to stop by TG's place and bring the tix to TO for anyone in TO who is wanting them.
  17. You're talking about Long Time. Foreplay is the instrumental part before that. Plus, Chewie just said that. I highly doubt they're going to play some cheesey come back themed cover song to open. Fluffhead> YEM!
