  2. Buddy of mine has a major surplus of tix for these two shows - anyone need tix? 2 lawns for both nights Hartford 4 lawns for both nights SPAC
  3. WTF was that Burnley routing on the weekend though... ahh well, Champions League here we come
  4. fixed it for you mon ami. I'll really love them if they can beat Arsenal this weekend. But for now. We. Are. Fourth. YES MY SON!!! So So So awesome!!!
  5. Super disapointed with this album - the last two were both stellar and this just doesn't pack any ummmph. It rolls along at a lackluster pace with a very few high points. I was expecting much more...
  6. While there's a few acts in there that are quality, the line up this is just sad for being Canada's #1 festival. Is this really as good as we can get for Canada? I've never been, but I'm pretty sure Bluesfest in Ottawa is a WAAY better festival than this. For evelove to even be considered the number one in my books they'd have to add at least twice as many acts and up the caliber of artists by about 73.52% or thereabouts.
  7. You're right - I did forget about Band of Horses...That will be a great record for sure!
  8. I SAID, ALBUM OF THE YEAR! GRIP THIS!
  9. Multiply has a few really great songs, but Jim was the full package I think. Yes, the best material was from the first album, but Jim as a whole was a much better album...
  10. Biggest disappointment this year. A couple OK tracks, but otherwise thumbs down. Makes me sad.

bummer! I know life can be hard sometimes Sharon, but I have faith you'll pull through...
  12. I wouldn't call that a bad conflict. You can go and see a great band or a really awesome Dead cover band. The choice is easy...
  13. Happy birthday, you silly little monkey!
  14. Well it's good to know your friends have taste AD Hey B - you and Jules should try Stampede grill ( on Brock st, next to the LCBO in parkdale). Arguably the best poutine in the city and they only serve Veggie gravy top notch!
  15. It's too bad the poutine they'll be eating is an abomination. I've been to the place 3 times now ( to give it's fair chance, hey, taste buds can have an off day I'm sure) and it's just terrible. I've struggled through many sub-par poutines, but this has to be one of the worst. Its the gravy - when you get that wrong, the whole thing is fucked. I can eat one with mediocre fries but if the curd is good and gravy is tasty, well things are going to be allllright. I've also endured poutines with great fries, good gravy and shredded cheese - don't get me wrong, this is almost an inexcusable offense as well, but at the very least you still have a serving of fries and gravy with a little cheese, which is a good thing. But when you fuck up the warm, smothering, liquid brown deliciousness that is gravy, well I'll tell you you've got a bullshit fucking product, with nobody to blame but yourself. Get it right for fucks sake you're embarrassing yourself and forcing the standards of one of our uniquely Canadian dishes down the goddamn tube. Jesus titty fucking keeee-rist, don't get me started.
  16. I've listened to the album once and wasn't super impressed personally - might need to re-listen.
