Jaimoe
Lonnie was a tremendous emotional and technical guitar player and had a soulful voice. Hey, both me and my son (when he was 18-month-old) played Willie Dixon's upright bass (the very same one in this clip) when we visited Chess Records in 2015! Esau.
Quote Joseph Spence (left) was a Bahamian guitarist and vocalist. Raymond Pinder (right) was Spence’s brother-in-law and fellow vocalist. Folklorist Sam Charters was the first to record Spence on his own back porch in 1958 and an album was released on the Folkways label in 1959. Edited January 24, 2019 by Esau. Check this out! Rare performance of Traffic in their prime, with drummer Jim Capaldi out from behind his kit rocking the tambourine. Thanks for posting this, I somehow missed that they were back, let alone had some new music. Found this too, considering I'm so out of touch, I assume this is new as well - the video was posted on yt same day. Edited January 30, 2019 by Esau.
