Basher
The Free iPod offer you have seen all over the Internet is now available to Canadians. Many have received an item through this, and all it can cost you as little as $1 (The Canadian Tire Gift Card offer). You also have to get 5 friends to sign up for this as referrals to get the 20GB iPod.What the hell - it's worth a try.If you are interested please use one of the referral links in the posts below. Thanks! Kaidy Mae
Okay Basher, I'm in the process of joining (and I followed your link). I sent my iPod to Saskatoon with Lacey for a week and I've missed that little bugger so much. Oh yeah, I've missed Lacey too.

After your 30-day FREE trial period, it's just $17.95 per month, automatically charged to the credit card you register today. If I cancel before my card gets charged do I still get the iPod? Basher
Looks like 8 people signed up with my link. If 5 of them complete the offer my iPod is on the way!
Kaidy Mae
I completed the CT offer Basher. However, the site said the completed offer may not show up for 15 days. Hmmmmm... They really try to ding you for that extra $17.95/month if your friends are slow pokes.
bouche
what's the 17.95/mth?
Basher
Yeah KM, they say it MAY take up to 15 days, but for that one in particular the pop-up said it would be credited in 2-3 days. As soon as the offer shows up for me I will consider cancelling it.Mike, the way this works is that you have to sing up for a trial offer of some sort. The one that KM and I signed up for is a $1 trial membership to a savings club, which you can cancel in the first month and still be credited for completing an offer - a requirement to get the free iPod.There were other offers as well, like Columbia House DVD club and an online Casino, but this one was the cheapest, and I verified that the toll free cancellation number worked.Anyhow, I will write up a full review of this program when I receive my iPod.FYI - in my research on the validity of this offer I found this BBC news report. Basher
Great news Kaidy - looks like we both received credit today for completing our offer - and it ended up costing only a buck!I know of one of my other referrals that completed there $1 trial offer as well, so, when 3 more do the same, my iPod will be on the way!
