bradm
Best set of the bluesfest! Not for me. It was good (and a good one-set/one-hour moe. show), but ranks behind Femi Kuti, Toumani Diabate, Bela Fleck And The Flecktones, and Los Lobos (so far).Aloha,Brad
phorbesie
i have a hard time putting one set ahead of another, since they all have different feels! hard to compare toumani diabate, say, with moe.! all i know is moe. fucking rocked probably most 'fun' set for me, especially since we were all together up at the front! yay! lol
ollie
ollie i have never seen you dance like that in my life. you were GOING OFF! it was awesome Woo hoo! They played all my favourite songs! Put me in front of a band I seriously dig and I lose control. That was my best, err, most fun, set of Bluesfest too. Were you taping Brad?
bradm
Were you taping Brad?Yup, I was right at the front of the sound tent. I listened to a bit of it last night, and it seems OK.Aloha,Brad
bouche
I really enjoyed the moe. set. There was no surprise that it'd be short. It was great to see Chuck and Jim taking in Los Lobos.
bradm
The Pitollie, are you sure about this? (Booche, what did your set list have?) I didn't recognize it, but it didn't have the "All the way down to bottom" lyric; instead at least one of the lines was "Be on my side". Chuck was singing it, and Al was on keys at least part of the time; it also had a dreamier feel than "The Pit."Aloha,Brad
Jakis
brad that would be "wind it up"

Booche
Mike, its the same guy that says he drinks 6 beers on playoff game-nights and tells us he was 'wasted' and that he is hungover. The moral of the story? He's a lightweight.
bouche
either that or he can't count. apparently when he tries to use his brain when he's drinking it doesn't spit out the right numbers or setlists.
