c-towns
Its ashame that anyone has to "take" this day off. I would consider this holiday more important than Jebus' birthday.

boiler
What kind of work you do Ol' Hickster?I could have went in to work double time today, but whatever, a guy needs to take a break once and a while and I've been working a lot lately. Gotta make the dough in the winter so the summer can be cheezy.

boiler
I have a unique situation. I work 4 on 4 off. I can work during my 4 off (most of the time) for Double time. Got me so far? So anyway, they frown upon you coming in on the 4 off to work for Double time and then skip days on your regular shifts. I already worked a couple days of my 4 off so I thought I'd take advantage of this new holiday. Plus, I'm not greedy, I just want to work enough so I can really take advantage of the 4 on 4 off during the summer.
Ol'Hickster
4 on 4 off is a good shift I used to work a shift like that When I worked the salmons farms back hoe during the summer when I was goin to high school, now I do the monday to Friday and usually saturday

Velvet
I'd rather be working, but I ain't complaining.I do however, find it upsetting that we've missed another oppourtunity for a Terry Fox Day or a Tommy Douglas Day, or a Louis Reil Day or something. Family Day, hmmmph.
