Large Marge
Awesome that you got it back, and testament (Jaydawg) that if you have the right lock(s), the thieves will be deflected to other targets. In Tdot we have a stolen bike listing on BikingToronto and also an online police registry for your serial number.
PalacePrincess
No way! Bikes with baskets can FLY! HAHAHAHAHAHA, awesome.
StoneMtn
Phew!On my walk to the bikeshop to see if they had thwe serial number I found it! The bastards tried to cut through my mondo lock and gave up, tossing the bike (manly basket and all) over a fence by the Queensway. With the help of my neighbor I hopped the fence (made me feel fifteen again) and we retrieved it. Seems like there is no damage aside from them trying to get through the lock, but even that doesn't need replacing!!! You are correct. I gave up on cutting through the stupid lock, so I ditched the stupid bike. Glad to hear it made it back to you.

SteveThe Owl
I had my bike stolen a few years back and it sucks... there's a cold, dark corner of hell just for bike thieves...Glad you got the bike back, though, Velvet. PalacePrincess
omg, that reminds me. and sorry, this has nothing to do with bikes. i had this completely random dream the other night that dr.hux was TOTALLY into ballroom dancing. like super excited about it, he was telling me all about it and i guess he had just learned how to do dips because he kept insisting he dip me over and over again and going "see?! this is how you do dips!", with pure glee and razzmatazzy excitement. now that i have shared that with the world....
