Well, he's back with the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra tomorrow night!!!!! Totally stoked.

Due to issues with having somebody to watch the kids, I have an extra ticket for the sold out show. FRONT ROW TICKET!!!! Anyone here interested on catching the show with me and a buddy of mine from that killer vantage point? Get in touch asap. Ticket is $99

Have seen Wynton perform before but not with this band. Shit, I'd go see him just to hear a lecture. I wish I had the smallest fraction of musical talent/knowledge that this man has. Report on Wynton and the band from 60mins:

If this kind of stuff is interesting to you and you want to learn more about the history and context of jazz, I HIGHLY suggest watching the PBS series JAZZ. It is PHENOMENAL:

Oh yeah, and did i mention that there's also about a 92% chance that we can go backstage after and meet the musicians!!!

I'm putting the ticket up online soon, but I'd rather it go to a Skank here.
