Freak By Night Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 Will you be watching the airhead with the glasses debate the guy who thinks television existed in 1929, or will you watch 4 guys and 1 lady shouting over each other?Me? I'll be watching baseball.
AD Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 The Office!Canadian debate during commercials. And then the Canadian debate after The Office is done.
Birdy Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 I'll be watching three guys and one lady shout at another guy, and that guy try to keep it cool as best he can without losing it. And then come a commercial i'll flip over to see the airhead and the moron.
Kanada Kev Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 For entertainment value you can't go wrong with the VP debate. I'll be watching it for sure: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7646243.stm While it's on, i'll be recording The Office and the Canadian debate to watch after. Would hate to have to choose only one
phishtaper Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 the airhead with the glasses debate ... and, with my pants around my ankles.
ollie Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 Fucking Survivor's on too! Best TV night of the year?
Jaimoe Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 The Office!Canadian debate during commercials. And then the Canadian debate after The Office is done.At least in the Toronto area, The Office isn't on tonight. If it is where you are, I'm betting it's a repeat.
AD Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 Will and I just walked around the NAC, it's a madhouse. As we were there the Harper bus drove by - I gave it a thumbs down. I was hoping the driver knew that my thumb was referring to the campaign and the Stephen Harper, not his bus. Although the bus was ugly.We also forgot out "Steve Paikin for PM" signs. Fack. Also - No office? Motherfucking Biden and Palin assholes.
Jaimoe Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 FYI, if you have digital cable, there's at least one CBC affiliate replaying the Canadian debate at midnight. CP24 will also replay the Canadian debate at midnight. I'm watching both the US and Canadian debates.
AD Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 Layton - "Where's your platform? Under the sweater?"hahaha
Birdy Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 oh god, i so, so, so disagree with Sarah Palin. There's nothing wrong with sitting down to talk to your enemies. Sanctions should be in place first? She's evil.
AD Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 i like most of what May is saying but she has such a flat and boring delivery. it shows that it's her first set of debates.
Jaimoe Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 I really like May. I agree with almost everything she stands for, but I won't vote Green.
Jaimoe Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 Not surprisingly, Palin hasn't answered any question with specific examples. Her "woodsy" style may fool the foolish, but any American fencesitter with half a brain knows she's full of shit.
phishtaper Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 im mezmorized by them green and red lines at the bottom of the screen ...
d_rawk Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 im mezmorized by them green and red lines at the bottom of the screen ... I find myself totally distracted by that, as I did with the McCain v. Obama debate. Interesting that for that one it was "Democrat, Republican, Independent" and for this one it is "Men, Women"
jayr Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 Last time I checked I was unable to vote in the American election. Why would I choose their debate over ours?I hope Stephen Harper falls down a deep dark hole on his way out of the studio tonite.
Hal Johnson Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 im mezmorized by them green and red lines at the bottom of the screen ... I find myself totally distracted by that, as I did with the McCain v. Obama debate. Interesting that for that one it was "Democrat, Republican, Independent" and for this one it is "Men, Women"That thing made me angry.
larry_llama Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 anyone know where i can download the English debate?
AD Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 I hope Stephen Harper falls down a deep dark hole on his way out of the studio tonite.the area around the NAC is well-known for its deep dark holes actually.
