Asparagus
A very nice organic' date=' raw milk blue from Quebec. Delicious.[/quote'] where does one find this? You can buy it at the International Cheese Shop (Lebanese family, not eastern European) in the market. They have a section devoted to artisan Quebecois cheeses. bradm
I bought what I thought was Gorgonzola today, only to find when I got home that it's actually "Borgonzola"*. It's made by Tre Stelle, so I figure it's not crap, but I wondered about the name. It turns out that Tre Steele makes Gorgonzola, with Borgonzola being "a semi-soft ripened cheese that incoportates [sic] the smooth, mild flavour of Brie with a dash of Blue throughout. This cheese was a finalist in the Blue Cheese category for the 2000 and 2002 Canadian Cheese Grand Prix." I'll try it later today.Aloha,Brad* Resisting this cheese may be futile... bradm
^^^ And? How was it? Not that great at all. There's so little blue that it's easy to miss, and when you do get some, it's so mild that you hardly notice it. The non-blue part is not very flavourful, and just kind of really bland. :thumbdown:Aloha,Brad
