Northern Wish
U2, KoL, MMJ and Prince are all pretty much confirmed at this point. But that is all for now. Until its not just a "name every band touring next year" list, I'll stop.
AD
U2 is in the western states at that time but they have holes in their schedule large enough to fit bonnaroo for sure. I think they should stay out west though. Spend their huuuuge guarantee on 2 or 3 headliners that I'd actually want to hear.
Northern Wish
And I wonder how it would work with the behemoth stage? They can't really close down the main field to set up for U2 can they??Has anyone else ever played Roo that brought their own stage setup?
AD
Obviously they wouldn't bring their giant stage.
Northern Wish
OBVIOUSLY.... my post was full of disbelief that it could happen. I just wonder what the point of having U2 is without the spectacle. That'd be like KISS with no make up or pyro.

edger
Hey NW can you use your powers to predict me a Rothbury lineup? As much as I'd love to get to Bonnarroo this year, it is logistically much more difficult for me.
DevO
Has anyone else ever played Roo that brought their own stage setup? Kanye West did, but if I recall correctly it roughly fit into the space that the normal stage fits into. He was about 8.9 hours late getting the gig going though, which didn't go over well at all. NewRider
If the Stones play I'm gonna have to get my ass in gear and get a passport to go.
tigger
Please no Reunion stuff please ( old Stadium Acts with twice as many or more musicians on stage than when the originally were playing) , like stones , or the likes of U.2. but if so head off to somewhere else or just keep working . TimmyB
Please no Reunion stuff please ( old Stadium Acts with twice as many or more musicians on stage than when the originally were playing) , like stones , or the likes of U.2. but if so head off to somewhere else or just keep working .So based on that logic you would not have wanted Phish to perform bonnaroo last year? Also U2 have never reunited as they have never broken up and they still perform as a four piece band with their original members.Peace,Tim
Northern Wish
How many Stones are there on stage now vs. then? Also when did the Stones break up and subsequently reunite?
Freak By Night
I read that the Stones "unofficially" broke up in the late 80's, but $70 million in exchange for the Steel Wheels album and tour quickly re-united them! Not that I'll be making the trek to Tennessee, but that Rush rumor is intriguing. bONES
I have got to get a fucking waiver. Jay Z AND Prince at Bonnaroo- fuck!and get it by June?good luck with thatmine took 16 months from starting the process to receiving the waivercost roughly $1500 and it expires in April I'm being told by Pardons Canada that if I do not renew it before it expires it will be 10X harder to getnot sure if I'll ever get back to the good `ole USAI would love to check out Furthur in Buffalo while I can still cross (if the border guards don't hold me for 3 hours like the last time I went to Barfalo with flymykitehigh and snarfmasterC)
