Large Marge
This Patent Pending process is complex and the ingredient mix primarily includes concentrated grape flavor and pure water. All ingredients are USDA and FDA approved and the process has been licensed by the Washington State Department of Agriculture.I like my fruit to be grown thanks, preferably organically. slavetothegroove
What's funny is there is artificial flavor....in a fruit. I thought this was really sad when I saw the package in the grocery store.
TheAlphaNerd
I love the amount of waste created just to make shitty grape apples. They were sorting how many apples? What do they do with the apple's that are not good enough to be grapples....
bouche
What's funny is there is artificial flavor....in a fruit. From what I saw about these, it's all natural. There aren't any artificial flavours used. I'm interested in trying one of these babies.
bONES
grapple was in a question on Jeopardy last night. What do they do with the apple's that are not good enough to be grapples.... I used to pick fruit (mostly apples) in my transient younger days. ALL of the apples on the ground, rotten and covered in flies/wasps = apple juice

Basher
I'm pretty sure the package said.. "With natural and artificial flavors".Q) Why does it say ‘Natural and Artificial Flavor’ ?A) Our main flavor ingredient is the same synthesized grape flavoring agent used in 100’s of other retail food items. Because it is not feasible for us to ‘crush all of the flavor’ we would need from grapes themselves, we are forced to say ‘Natural and Artificial Flavor’. The grape flavoring is the same that you would get out of Mother Nature’s grapes themselves.
Basher
Oh, and if you can decode that answer, you're smarter than me.
Big Wooly Mammoth
at best this is some synthesized flavouring that may originate with grapes. This is a very interesting read about about how fresh squeezed orange juice is flavoured.
