dave-O
Thinking about it. I haven't decided what I want to see/spend money on for Pop Montreal yet. I'm currently more leaning towards Grizzly Bear on Sunday night.

DevO
Same here on both accounts NR! Kinda kicking myself for not getting on top of it as David Byrne is one of the only musicians left on my must-see-live list. thatpatguy
I was in Montreal for the show for his last album, Everything That Happens Will Happen Today. Awesome show.. and so awesome to see him in a club rather than some big stadium or something.Wish I had my act together to get to this show, the album is awesome (but how could it not be, it'd David Byrne)! Velvet
We were at the same show. It's not very often that I think dancers are cool, but those dancers were cool!

ollie
For anyone new to St. Vincent via the Byrne collaboration, I really recommend her last album, Strange Mercy. It was one of my favourites from last year.http://www.ilovestvincent.com/index.php/listen

Kanada Kev
Yea, but I think I'll either hope for a quick interview and then book it in for the show (highly unlikely) or save my time so I can get to a bunch of shows next month (Rush, Springsteen, The Watch, Easy Star All Stars, Umphrey's, ... ) Maybe a little Stop Making Sense at home for me tonight instead
Cosmic ChrisC
I'll be missing The Watch in Ottawa/Gatineau because Ollie and I going to the Who instead. Did you ever see the Watch? They are impressive!
Kanada Kev
Yea, i missed The Watch the last time through as well. I have them on the calendar and am planning to go either the 17th in Toronto, or the 18th in Hamilton.
Velvet
Very, very great show tonight in a really cool venue.Man, that St. Vincent is fantastic. Great singer, really cool guitar playing and her stage presence is killer. David Byrne ain't too shabby neither, though he looks like Matlock when he wears suspenders. Toss in a fantastic drummer, a keyboard player who got to use the church's massive pipe organ for a tune, and eight horn players...well, what a show.If you can get in the Toronto show you'll probably have a real good time.
