Rob Not Bob
Solidly OK lineup. I see a lot I will enjoy, but not much I am super psyched about. Only thing really Bucket List is Deep Purple. Surprising how many artists I have seen before, usually in my 20s (Richard Thompson, Robyn Hitchcock, saw the Tea Party about half a dozen times before they were signed and not at all afterwards). Jaimoe
Only thing really Bucket List is Deep Purple. No Ritchie Blackmore or obviously Jon Lord. Still, better than the tribute band that calls itself Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Familiar enough with the current line up that I am still looking forward to it. Jaimoe

Freak By Night
Well the advance ticket sales worked much smoother than last year. I bought the $99 three day passes. I won't be attending much bluesfest this summer. In the autumn of my years, the jazz fest is more appealing to me!
phorbesie
you had to choose your 3 days right? which ones did you choose? just curious
Freak By Night
12th for Richard Thompson (Blue Rodeo for my wife) 17th for The HIp 18th for Deep Purple I might buy an individual ticket for the 14th, but I'll decide on that later!

Guest Low Roller
Definitely ups the star power for the event.I wouldn't go out of my way to see him perform, but it would be interesting to see one of the most hyped performers out there currently. AD
So for the 3-day passes, which are loaded onto an RFID card this year, there is a $5 service charge per day, then a $5 service charge for the order. Then I backed out of the order to reevaluate. So even before tax and shipping (and perhaps a handling charge which was TBA) there is a 20% markup on the tickets. phorbesie
that's too bad. i wonder if you buy at the gate if they will still charge those charges?
