Although, as last minute shopping is always my way, I find there tends to be an erie calm around the malls when shopping a few hours before closing. The calm after the storm I guess. Worst moment was the twenty minutes waiting in line at Chapters... only to be rewarded with the hell of making small talk about my purchases with the staffer directing traffic at the head of the line. (they've been brainstorming for years on how to rejuvinate downtown hamilton). record stores and book stores and one stop at pier one took care of all my shopping needs!
