cakvuli
There is still the option to the Bus thing!! Not a bad thing you know!! I would sooo be all over the bus ride if I were you. I keep thinking of the sunday after the shaker....I hate the 3 hour drive home let alone a friggin 15 hour drive home. you guys are nuts!!! Del
I've been to Limestone, ME twice, I know how far away it is... That's why I'm kind of against doing the bus myself. For others it's a great way to go, but I want to see The Slip in Montreal, plus i want to be able to stop and take a picture or stretch my legs... if the Shaker Bus was stopping in Montreal for the Slip show, that would be a different story... I really don't want to miss that show...
show---whore
im sure we could have it stop in montreal.
Del
Well, if the bus stopped in MTL, I'd seriously consider taking it... unless of course that meant missing other Slip shows in S. Ontario that week...

bouche
According to Mappoint, heading through maine, the drive from ottawa is reported as... Start: Ottawa, Canada End: St. Andrews, New Brunswick, Canada Total Distance: 843.2 Kilometers Estimated Total Time: 9 hours, 52 minutes Has anyone gone this route? If that shaves off 3-4 hours, how could you not go that way?
kung
Depends what you've got in the trunk.... I think with potential holdups at the border on both ends it's a zero sum game and you're better off just hauling through Canada.
Del
agreed Kung. Who needs border hassles when you can just puff the whole way there...
Freeker
Mike, never trust mapquest...it just finds the most direct route. Including roads that go through small towns that have speed limits, hell even logging roads and dirt roads...never trust mapquest
secondtube
bouche, i can't even think of a single reason i'd risk the border for a savings of four or five hours... and thats if i had NO record, with NOTHING in the trunk. the main reason i like the shaker/evolve, is its in Canada.... no point in risking going through teh states to save under half a days driving... kung
As usual the reality of making it to these shows is somewhat up in the air. But then again 'rational decision making' has never particularly affected my show going habits so why start now.
