  1. Nice pics! I like your setlist too. We should send Myrna on that cruise. I'd bet she'd love to take Stapes with her and they would dance up a storm all night.

I like the Music for 'Ersh benefit. If you don't want post your P.O. box, maybe could send it to one person who could pass it on to those that want to send you something.

    BTW...

I moved your pic (well, not moved) to our ftp so that it could be displayed. yahoo/geocitiesmakes it a pain to host an image.

  2. M !

What a week you had. Are they all like that?

Do the Rheostatics have any music available for download? I haven't heard them in years, but I consistently hear about them playing gigs in TO.

It was great to see you at smokestack. Perhaps we'll meet again at nero!

There does seem to be a lot of nero coming up in Toronto.

    PS. Thanks for the drinkies!

  3. i don't know where weezy get's all these pictures of me. I'm getting spooked.

Do you have a hacked version? As far as I know, there are 2 ways. You can use a regular copy and do a bunch of hacks which are pretty tedious, or you can find a copy that has no activation built in.

  4. Here's that popup from Ticketmaster that directs you to online scalpers to buy tickets...

could they be any more obvious?

  5. During a visit to the Ontario Science Center on the weekend, there were a few exhibits that proved to be some real pants-wetters.

There is a food exhibit there and one of the displays is trying to show the difference between diets. You'd almost think this was a joke...but it's not...it's real.

    Who needs fibre?

  6. Smokestack kicked some major arse in TO. They covered way to many impressive styles throughout the night, and the Phish inspiration was very clear in a couple of songs.

They had me hooked at the opening bluegrass tune.

I heard such an amazing version (I've always wanted to see and hear a great cover of this) "Walking on the Moon" by the Police.

I've gotta see them some more and figure out what's there's and what's not. It was all so good. The only other cover that I was aware of was the encore that the crowd DEMANDED, "Walk Like an Egyption".

These guys are very amazing, and I'm am so happy that we made it to the TO show. Nice surprise by Mark Tonin as well!

  7. I was rooting through some mp3's I had on my mp3 player/recorder from the CTFest from Labour Day weekend.

I found a short interview with Dr. Huxtable which that is very deep and insightful. He has so much to say about the world.

    Download the unedited version.

    Here's the transcript...

What's going on at MSG on december 31?

    I'm out of the loop!

It's a fantastic poster...whoever they are...makes me wanna go check them out. I'm going to call the box office and see if I can get a couple of tickets to this thing.
