weezy...it's the same artist as the one doing THIS TUNE
Van Whalen...good name and great stick handlin' dude! Thanks for all of your great rhythms. I got to hear your playing later with the tape made in the sound board. I hope you can make it out the next time too

I can't wait for the Cheese to come back around here. I haven't seen them since summer 2001.
I expect that they should visit TO and Montreal...the city of 'danse contact'

Speaking of Dr. Huxtable....
I just found a recording of their live version of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
I sure hope they pull it out from the vault tonight!

Nice pics! I like your setlist too. We should send Myrna on that cruise. I'd bet she'd love to take Stapes with her and they would dance up a storm all night.
I like the Music for 'Ersh benefit. If you don't want post your P.O. box, maybe could send it to one person who could pass it on to those that want to send you something.
BTW...
I moved your pic (well, not moved) to our ftp so that it could be displayed. yahoo/geocitiesmakes it a pain to host an image.

Cool Velvet.
Glad to see you guys are basically like the Starship Enterprise now.
So...as the at the communications station, you must be Uhura.

M !
What a week you had. Are they all like that?
Do the Rheostatics have any music available for download? I haven't heard them in years, but I consistently hear about them playing gigs in TO.
It was great to see you at smokestack. Perhaps we'll meet again at nero!
There does seem to be a lot of nero coming up in Toronto.
PS. Thanks for the drinkies!

If you haven't entered this contest already, it's available right here.

Salute him when his birthday comes!

The last time I saw it, it was really late at night and I was streaming it on my PC live.
I thought the show was a lot of fun that way. I can't wait to re-experience it in all of it's 5.1 glory!

i don't know where weezy get's all these pictures of me. I'm getting spooked.
Do you have a hacked version? As far as I know, there are 2 ways. You can use a regular copy and do a bunch of hacks which are pretty tedious, or you can find a copy that has no activation built in.

During a visit to the Ontario Science Center on the weekend, there were a few exhibits that proved to be some real pants-wetters.
There is a food exhibit there and one of the displays is trying to show the difference between diets. You'd almost think this was a joke...but it's not...it's real.

Smokestack kicked some major arse in TO. They covered way to many impressive styles throughout the night, and the Phish inspiration was very clear in a couple of songs.
They had me hooked at the opening bluegrass tune.
I heard such an amazing version (I've always wanted to see and hear a great cover of this) "Walking on the Moon" by the Police.
I've gotta see them some more and figure out what's there's and what's not. It was all so good. The only other cover that I was aware of was the encore that the crowd DEMANDED, "Walk Like an Egyption".
These guys are very amazing, and I'm am so happy that we made it to the TO show. Nice surprise by Mark Tonin as well!

see ya there!
Ms H and I are in for saturday. LJFH...keep your night open, we'll call you.
LJFH...can you try and find Dave Andrewsez phone number? I forgot to take it with me. Hopefully he's in town.

I was rooting through some mp3's I had on my mp3 player/recorder from the CTFest from Labour Day weekend.
I found a short interview with Dr. Huxtable which that is very deep and insightful. He has so much to say about the world.
Download the unedited version.
Here's the transcript...
Dr. H:

Bouche:
Favorite TV show.
Dr. H:

Who should win next year's Lifetime achievement award?
I'm going to nominate Tony D!
He qualifies for his achievements at wearing that beret all the time.
-
That's the same list on TIcketsnow.com, same tickets, but the prices are a little different.
This is pretty sick too....check out the tix for the CD release party
-
Who are these guys...Phish...and why haven't I heard of them?
What's going on at MSG on december 31?
I'm out of the loop!
It's a fantastic poster...whoever they are...makes me wanna go check them out. I'm going to call the box office and see if I can get a couple of tickets to this thing.
-
I like it. I guess I'm gonna have to write something for that when I get a chance

Hey MarcO...
What am I missing about "jammies"? Does it sound too much like Pajama jammies?
Could call the awards...the "UNDEROOOS!"
Hell, we could start our own right here.

We Can Run
Do Brent tunes count? Or is that just too easy?

Oh yeah, I'll tell you something, I think you'll understand. I have this thing right here...
