  14. FYI: Conan O'Brien will broadcast from the Orpheum in San Francisco next week, and he'll welcome RatDog onto his show on Thursday night, May 3. The show airs at 12:35 AM ET/PT (technically Friday morning) and RatDog will presumably appear in the last segment of the hour-long show.
  15. So many people with so many agendas. Why can't we all just get along?
  16. 12-15% less kindness wouldn't have spoiled the good wishes.
  17. On the other hand - even though people don't run on a party ticket or officially "wear" an affiliation, party affiliation is often a big part of municipal politics. The municipal council in my bosses riding is most definitely NDP as they are prominent provincial/federal members and often vote along these lines. Municipal politics is often a career springboard for people who want to run provincially/federally so depending how they play (or don't play) their partisan cards at council can effect their prospects. My point - you don't have to scratch too deep to find partisan politics in the municipal arena.
  18. awww thanks everybody, too kind....
