  1. hahahahaha No! She's just a cool person, and I know what it's like to move around the country, re-building your social-circle each time you land. (Ya bum!)
  2. Ooops! Didn't I recommend moving there? hahahaha BTW, I have a cool, very sociable friend in the 'Knife, if you'd be interested in meeting her. I'd gladly put you two in touch with each other. If so, PT me.
  3. Yes. I saw a monster. It ate a truck.
  4. Gong show! (I can't even begin to explain.) At least I saw a giant chair, though.
  5. So, it looks like I'm almost certainly coming to this tonight, Howler. I hope you end up coming, and I see you there.
  6. And you managed to get Matt "the Alien" out of Whistler in mid-snow-season! Well done. Great DJ, even outside in extremely cold temperatures. (Say 'hi' to him for me, Jay, using my real name which I think you know. He'll know who I am if you tell him he and I and I met in my office in Whistler long ago, and I gave him some law reading material he was interested in.)
  7. I certainly don't always love him, but he put on the most incredible show, closing The Boot Pub in Whistler. It was about three and a half hours. I have total respect for the guy as a musician.
  8. I am familiar with many musicians who suck far worse, by any standard, and have a career.
  9. I heard the last few minutes of a radio-interview of Geddy Lee. I actually burst out laughing at the final question:
  10. Hey, great news! I also thought that last one would be the last. Tom Petty isn't known for saying things he doesn't mean. With Steve Winwood? Extra cool! Too bad about the venue, though. Unless I can get some of the best tickets in that place, I won't go there ever again. It's a waste of time and money.
  11. I think the caveman is responding to boiler rat a few posts up... Oh, ya. I was. Sorry RnB.
  12. They appearead in a very cool environmentalist movie, recently. Seem like a good band, with integrity.
  13. I assumed it meant pre WWII, actually.
  14. Are you entirely unfamiliar with the barrage of contests Bouche has run, giving away free tickets, CDs, etc. as prizes?
  15. Maybe something (instead of "Cavern") from an ALO tune? "Just Wasting Time"
  16. Is that Domenic? Is he "the biggest thing in Germany" or something?
  17. OMG! That is horrible! Howler, I don't know if you see him, but if you do, please wish him well for me. I'm going to try to come out to this benefit, actually. I'm going to email him anyway, but it sounds like he may not have a computer to receive it! Unreal.
  18. 336. Pre-war blues songs about death, without repeating an artist or song. 1. Leadbelly - Death Letter Blues 2. Blind Lemon Jefferson - See That My Grave Is Kept Clean 3. Robert Johnson - Dead Shrimp Blues 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. 12.
  19. How old is this "old lady"? Ewwwww.
  20. I'm about 5'10" and skinny. I'm sure I can find some stuff to send him, although I'll have to figure it out at home. If you PT me an address to mail it, I can just put a package in the mail to you on Monday.
  21. Oh yes. Donna stuff and Samba in the Rain.
