  1. It's the one off Nashville City Nights.. Which is that? I didn't know there were two versions - still fairly new to Ryan Adams.. All I have is that album (which I love), and Gold.
  2. Thanks! I wasn't sure what to do there for a while but it worked out fairly well I think. That Slackers song ends on such a fierce note, you could put a lot of different tunes right after it and there will be a cool contrast effect.

  7. I'm going to see The Golden Dogs at Lee's Palace.. Should be awesome. Also there's always The Sadies at The Horseshoe.
  8. Having trouble installing mKW, and can't figure out how to work EAC.. It doesn't want to import my WAVs. sigh.. Too tired now though, I'll try again tomorrow. Any other suggestions? The WAVs work just fine.. Can't understand for the life of me why there is no audio after I convert to MP3. I tried all sorts of other settings in LAME but to no avail.
  9. Thanks SG, I'll give it a shot. I solved the problem last time but I can't remember how! Its a bit of a dirty process, because these files were originally MP3s, then they are transferred to WAV when I mess with them in MixMeister, and now back to MP3.
  10. I'm having the exact same problems tonight as I was having a year and a half ago.. Can anyone help me out? Please??
  11. That looks like an interesting compilation. I haven't seen/heard the name Andy Curran in a loooooong time.
  12. I used to use one called ID3TagIt.. Can't seem to find it no mo' tho. Good thing this thread came up though, as I'm going to need to get a program like this in the next few days. (New Kev's Cuts on the way).

  15. Yeah this was the 24-year anniversary, 1 hour special that was aired on CBC sometime last Winter/Spring. I haven't seen it yet but I've been waiting. Strange Brew is definitely in my top 3 movies of all time!!
  16. sweet pics. i went to the ptbo show as well as the brampton show the night before and these two shows have me walking on clouds!! absolutely beautiful music happening.. the show in brampton was a very intimate affair in a room for about 60. in ptbo, it took until set 2 for them to really nail it down but that set was nothing short of amazing!!! i couldn't have been happier. i took notes and i'll be writing up a nice big review sometime soon. i'll post setlist too soon.

    New Years Eve!!!!

I'm going to see The Golden Dogs at Lee's.
  20. I am in! In for Manx & Breit anyway.. Gotta get back to Stink Town for Saturday unfortunately. I'm seeing Manx & Breit tomorrow night as well in Brampton. wooooo! I think we're getting a room at the Holiday Inn.. Coming up with Big Ian, Downey, Amy L and a few others. Peterborough's my favourite town in Ontario and I can't wait to check it out again! East City Diner breakfast here I come. Blane, you comin too?
  21. No time to write a proper review right now but save to say this was one of the best concerts I've ever laid witness to. Absolutely beautiful evening!! Its hard to pick out highlights but I guess "Ambulance Blues" and "Mellow My Mind" are two of them. Also "The Loner" to kick off set II - I wasn't really expecting it, even though its been on all the setlists.. Guess I never really bothered to fully synthesize what I'd been seeing on the screen, to good results. When Neil got all "excited" about someone yelling something about Woodstock, I thought for a sec we might get "Roll Another Number". I predict "Helpless" for THursday. (I'm not going) Nice to finally meet you K-Kev! Only other Skanks I saw were Velvet and Phorbesie, sitting a few rows behind me.
  22. We've met a ton of times before, but thanks!
