wow, that's pretty bad. the recall was on December 6th, and they not only still had them on the shelves last week, they actually replaced hers with a new one?!

wow, what a show! lisa lampanelli is one of the funniest people alive!! if you were the easily-offended sort, you wouldn't have lasted 5 minutes. lisa took stereotype shots at every racial, sexual, and religious group on the planet, focusing on good-natured members of the audience. and we loved it! this was one of those things that you simply had to experience, no explanation is possible without it sounding outrageously offensive. the crowd numbered around 500 im guessing. lisa commented a number of times on how well received many of her really offensive jokes were and how she loved the fact that people up here in "Canadia" had a great sense of humour. in fact she ran long, entertaining us for more than 75 minutes. with two openers, this gave us a full 2 hours of fun. she was in the lobby both before and after the show signing merch, so i got to say hello too. i really recommend seeing lisa, if you can take it. ps, thanks Sarahbelle, it was inspired by a fun topic over in the Food Forum. i like her too.

because the amphitheatre is a horrible venue? the acc is a much better concert venue. fwiw, the BMO stadium is owned by Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment Ltd and was designed as a multi-purpose venue. the lack of seats at the north end, as well as the placement of the scoreboard was specific to allow for an inhouse concert stage. there are also wiring troughs under the field.

i just hope it's earlier because I dont want it to be a late summer outdoor event in TO. seeing them at the amphitheater would be a big let-down. and if the Genesis show at BMO last year is any indication, half the crowd will just be getting to their seats as the band comes back for their encore.

buffalo is a VERY easy airport to fly in and out of. inexpensive parking, easy to get around, spacious. NOTHING like pearson. if you can get a good flight out of there, do it. try kayak.com. it searches all airline databases. good place to start, at least.
