how can israel go ahead and do what it needs to do regardless of the other guys? what they "need to do" has tremendous impact on the other guys. this sounds like bush is suggesting israel adopt an american strategy to just do what it wants and screw everyone else. my take on bush's recent ramblings is that he figures its easy to "bring peace to the middle east" and in doing so, he will save his horrendous legacy. he's as naive when it comes to foreign affairs as he has been at running his own country. and like Dr. Phil, he should just stay out of other people's business.
