random i guess...usually i turn on the computer when i remember something i wanted to look up. for instance, today it was a local artist that i'd noticed and wanted to contact. yesterday i wanted to price out some ikea rugs. but after i do whatever, i usually check my email and message boards.

sigh...django i'm not talking about people who are tired or have a sore back. those people are called HUMANS and like you said, they're more than capable of moving back a little ways to have a rest. if their friends don't want to move back with them, that's their option. as i said if you NEED to sit, as in you have some sort of physical disability that makes you unable to stand, hopefully a good friend will accompany you to the handicapped area. good deal for them too as they get in for free. i can't believe all this crap has started already! can't we wait till bluesfest actually starts please! lol i mean i'd like to think that bluesfest will pay attention this time and actually ORGANIZE something, but i'm not holding my breath.

actually there's only one show i feel i need to be right up front for this year, and i plan to get there VERY EARLY for it. so i should be pretty chill this year (i think). i can't believe it's only 2 months away. so excited!

sorry but if you go to bluesfest when there is only ONE act on the main stage that night (ie. van morrison, bob dylan) and insist upon being up front then you can handle standing up for an hour or 90 minutes, it won't kill you. if you are aged or NEED to sit down i'm sure bluesfest will be more than happy to offer you a space in the handicapped area. i will bitch about lawn chairs as much as i need to until we have EQUAL RIGHTS.

well i learned something today!

fighting with lawn chair people pretty much ruined van morrison for me last year, so i guess it can affect me. it's hard to ignore what's going on around you sometimes. other than lawn chairs, my pet peeve at shows is people chatting. i think a good crowd can make a bad show good if the band can feed off of that
