  1. Ya, I wanted to try it on the highway, giving ourselves a little distance, but I had to stay in town, while Fista headed home, so we didn't get a chance.
  2. hah, wiki link for Henry: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Thierry_Henry&oldid=326715091
  3. You know those devices that you attach your IPOD to and plug into your cigarette lighter? Then you have to find a certain fm frequency to listen to your music? Well, somehow people in other cars can hear what Im listening to, clear as day, if they are tuned into the same radio station as me. (which i still think is pretty cool, and obviously I don't think Im the only one with magic powers)I assume this happens all the time, probably more so in rural areas I'd guess, just people don't notice it. Here's the device I use:
  4. Haha, Im serious man. It's unbelievable. I was listening to a Beck song. It ended, Ipod on shuffle. Next a dead song, I skipped it, then maybe a keller song, skipped it too. Settled on Dog Face Boy cause I was tired of skipping songs. Looked in my rearview mirror and my wife has a shit-eating grin on her face and she's mouthing the words to the song. Through hand movements alone we realized what was happening. Guess those FM things are more powerful than I thought. Makes sense too, if you think about it.
  5. If you ever find yourself driving behind me in and around the Wolfville area of Nova Scotia, switch your radio station to 88.5. If you do this you will somehow be blessed with tapping into what I happen to be listening to on my I-pod at that time. Fista and I discovered it earlier today when she was following me somewhere. It blew our freakin minds!! But, is this common knowledge? Anyway, its new to me and now I feel a huge weight on my shoulders as I am now a pirate radio DJ. It feel like I have been chosen by the radio gods to do the lords work. It's kinda exciting, not gonna lie.
  6. So I guess the Max games will eventually go back to 82 (or 83) so it might be a good idea to keep this in mind when making your selections day in day out. I know I was + 6 on average, for example, and once it gets fixed Im hoping that Im still around there, if you catch my drift. So don't go nuts just cuz it screwed up!
  7. Haha, you too, huh? I called the freaky red-haired chick from episode 1. Sports and Thursday nights are what the TV is good for, to me at least. Actually, that's a lie - we have TMN and HBO now so there's all sorts of good stuff on, when its a new season of something.
  8. Max Games Update: I still don't know what's going on. I changed it to 83 with hopes that it would fix itself, but nope.
  9. The Onion - Kevin Youkilis, funny...
  10. Who would say Two Thousand Ten?? Twenty 10 all the way.
  11. According to Refugees International Somalia is home to "the world's greatest humanitarian disaster". It's not like it happened in the middle of a famrer's market in downtown Ottawa. It's a war torn country with very little law and order. The article said that the area is run by militants, too. Im sure if they had a choice, the public would not allow this.
  12. Yikes, the comments after the article are almost as scary as the article itself.
  13. WEEK 11 Thursday Car Sunday Dal Det SF Pitt Minn NYG NO Jax Ind Arz Den Cin NE Phil Monday Ten Some tough calls this week...for some reason I'm not too confident Dal or Car, but I picked them anyway.
  14. Ian Mendez to AD, "Do these meaningless regular season victories against the leafs fill the void left by 4 straight playoff losses to them?"
  15. Do you love Ian Mendez? Cuz if you do Im sorry AD.
  16. Ian Mendez to PG in basketball, "So I noticed you dribbling the ball and making passes to your teamates with the purpose of maybe putting the ball in the basket...would you say this is a fair assessment of what was happening out there on the court?" Or, to a pitcher in baseball, "Hey, were you trying to throw that spherical object past the guy swinging that stick? Holy smokes, you succeeded quite a bit!" Or, to a quater back, "I noticed you passing the ball sometimes, and then handing it off to that big guy over there and he ran with it. What do you call that move?"
  17. Wow, Ian Mendez sure asks the hard hitting questions, eh? "There were more fights than goals this period, safe to say the intensity is high?' and "Noticed you making plays in the offensive zone, is that something your trying to do because the puck isn't really going in the net for ya?"
  18. Im watching the game...its good so far. Tuned in just as Orr was going to the box for fighting, so missed that one. Then Neil picked on Schenn and Schenn tried to fight back. But ya know, good on Schenn for not taking that shit, and not getting eaten either...cuz it looked like he was about to for a second.
  19. ya, Dave-O's right, it doesn't look like anything has actually changed. Instead, Yahoo looks like they screwed up. Give it time, Im sure it will fix itself. Allright, my paranoia has subsided...
  20. Holy Shit! I have no idea what happened. One of you fuggers hack into my acct?! Seriously, that's weird. I was on an internet only "open" connection at school, where it says info may be seen by others...which I dont really understand or get the concept of, but still...could someone have hacked into my shit and changed the # of max games played? who would do that?
  21. 12 eh? If only NE had a kicked the damn ball...oh well, I'll use this as a launching pad anyway, for what will surely be a disastrous foray into the world of sport betting.
  22. ? I was responding to dinghy for his questioning of the Lecavilier trade. If that's even what your asking.
