  1. Totally; on another note, if anyone is interested in my "The Apocalypse Is Coming One Snowflake At A Time" insurance program, PM me....
  2. I'll definitely be heading back to Ottawa to catch this show. And I don't get why they don't have any SoOn dates; they 'broke up' just because one of their guitarists moved to T-dot, so..... ?
  3. This is news to me.... I'm a sensitive guy too...
  4. That's too bad, I was kind of happy with them calling it quits... maybe I should have paid more attention... In that case, no matter who plays bonnarroo, it's a shitty-ass, dirty wookfest. Good to see the police on there. Maybe with the cops there, Trey can play a supervised show with Oysterhead on a work-release type basis. All we need now is Claypool. Who's got my heady Claypool?
  5. I'm going to say that, since SCI is broken up, not that I'm complaining, yet still appear on this list, this list might not hold too much merrit...

  7. And how did that make you feel? Wait, spare us; save it for you therapist.
  8. no one needs to know.... grab a napkin and bow your head in shame.
  9. I just think it's funny that these things were in multiple cities and no one reacted. I think it's weak sauce that, if they really thought these things were a threat, it took them 2-3 weeks to find them. So, in terms of a marketing campaign, I'll agree in a post 9-11 world it was irresponsible and a little over the edge, but so was the reaction. I don't think the producers of ATHF should be criminally charged.
  10. knock, knock... who's there? oh look: the apocalypse...
  11. I love it but a lot of my friends live stateside or 3000 miles or more away; so I actually use it for real people and finding old friends. So NewRider, you're saying if I go on a date with someone from myspace, besides my girlfriend kicking my ass, I could score some oxycotin? Interesting approach.
  12. I recently refound the love of television, through the acquisition of one, and I have to say, until last night, I'd never seen The Office. It's fucking priceless. So good... I have no words for how good...
  13. I'll take it that Bruce Willis didn't see the last Rocky and, in doing so, learn the valuable lesson that you can actually beat a dead horse too hard. Way too hard...
  14. I'm going to agree with the fact that the U.S. Army is stretched way too thin to even muster up a fart in Iran's direction right now. If they were thinking about attacking, they wouldn't be spending as much money and energy increasing forces in Iraq. Their hands are tied and they're probably sitting in the oval office praying to "8'6" Baby Jesus" that Iran doesn't mobilize first. The only way I could imagine an attack on Iran is the deployment of extra troops to Iraq being a front for an attack on Iran, but I see it being wise to take diplomatic measures first. And Hillary Clinton? Are you kidding me? Saying that Bush should have every troop out of Iraq before she, I mean, the next president, gets behind the big desk? It's almost as impossible/irresponsible as it is crazy.
  15. I can feel it coming in the air... oh yeah...
  16. That's awsome. I'll be there to celebrate next year. PoG, pencil me in...
  17. Let me add, absolutely everything, down to the kitchen sink in that place was hot. The owner was definately slinging crack and into other shady ventures I never bothered to enquire about. Working there was absolutely hilarious before it got old. Half the people that came in were just there to 'use' the bathroom. Ah, the memories. Apparently, after I left, it was a huge downward spiral to where crackheads were making and serving peanut butter sandwiches on the barter system. Too much.....
  18. Ha ha, I worked there for a little while... What a crack house it was... Now, I should read that story...
  19. It's like a dead horse just got beaten...
  20. Will you be rocking a wheelchair this year?
  21. I don't get it but BradM beat me to the punch... I'm just happy they shelled out such great music....?
  22. .mac all the way. They just work better, look better, and make life easier. Not much to add that hasn't already been said.
  23. I've lived in a lot of different places and it all comes down to pulses and paces. I like having access to cities, but on a day to day basis, I've always enjoyed the times where I lived in more rural areas. It also comes down to asthetics; the country is just nicer. I love being outside but in most downtown scenario's stepping outside is like stepping into a big bubble. The best scenario I've ever had was living in and around Nederland, CO; about a half hour drive from Boulder, then another 40 mins or so to Denver. The commute's geogeous as opposed to a nuissance. I need to get back out to the country. I think my dog would second that...
