  1. If you need to ask, then you do.
  2. That's funny, when I was a teenager in the 80s, people who watched SNL in the 70s said it wasn't funny anymore.
  3. Although, a large number of crimes, both non-violent and violent, with or without a firearm occur for the sole purpose of getting money to purchase the drugs by those absuing them.
  4. As biased as I am' date=' I totally agree. I miss watching playoff games being broadcast from the Forum and Boston Gahdens. That was the real shit. [/quote'] Last night CBC was running the 1978 playoff game between Boston & Montreal, I forget which game it was in the series (I think game 1), it was 4-1 (for the Habs) when I passed out. Cheevers, Dryden, O'Reilly, Lafleur - rough and tough game thats for sure. Old time hockey. Before it got soft and pretty.
  5. Best rivalry in the NHL, and honestly, now-a-days, the longest running even worth watching. At least in my opinion.
  6. Not that it'll mean much in here, but the fan whining part wasn't so much in regards to anyones comments in this thread. Sorta vague I know, but as Booche can tell you, after that game I PM'd him, as I had come home from watching the game in a house full of Habs fans who did nothing but blame the loss on the B's playing dirty.
  7. As I mentioned, Lucic's crosscheck was a dumb move and I agree with the suspension. Not whining about that or whining about the Habs, just wanted to point out that Komisarek's eye gouge or Lapierre going after Kessel for scoring an empty netter was poor sportmanship, just like Lucic's crosscheck. But hey, read it as you like.
  8. Actually, that wasn't in reference to your comment. I quoted it only because of the "deserved" part, which I addressed in my first line. Sorry for the confusion.
  9. Haha. Hey, he's a tough young guy he dealt with it, got stitched up etc, in fact the next afternoon he required a splenectomy due to an injury during the second period.
  10. No offence meant, but honestly, this is what I mean - people defending or diminsihing that action, but yet then say "missed that". Notice the blood, and the lack of a left hand glove.
  11. Bare hand you mean, he dropped his glove and raked his face and drew blood. After the play/whistle. [edit to add] I'm not saying the suspension isn't deserved, nor justifying anything. Stupid move, plain & simple. I can accept that.

  13. While I don't disagree that it was a stupid move for the playoffs, it's not worse then the bare hand eye gouge Komisarek dealt Hunwick (post-game even) or Lapierre going after Kessel for scoring an empty netter. Funny how up in arms folks get over one stupid penalty while all the time ignoring obvious poor sportsmanship from their own team. As I've said before, this playoff match up always scares me, the track record between the two hasn't favoured the B's in over a decade (give or take a year), but it's hands down one of the best rivalries still left in the new softer NHL. So the Habs always get my respect. I just can't stand the fan-whining, its like listening to Leaf fans during reg. season. Go B's

    Good Job IKEA

All good, I certianly wasn't thinking your trying to cause shit, I was only curious, nothing more. I've never used those so I can't really say much about them. phorbesie: not every store offers those, mine were purchased at food basics if I remember correctly a couple years ago and are all cloth. [edit to add] ahh a quick edit, so disregard the "every store" comment. Thats why I asked, I wasn't sure which he was refering to. But thanks.

I'm not sure what you mean Ollie, are you refering to the cloth bags? I haven't used the bags the LCBO offers, but I do take the cloth grocery bags I have, and they will hold four 6-packs of cans easily, and will hold four six packs of bottles, although two bags is usually a bit more comfortable for bottles even one handing them as they are a lot more durable, especially when walking or taking the bus. Again, not sure which bags your refering to, but I can't see too many people throwing the cloth/re-usuable ones out, I've had the same ones for over two years with really no signs of wear.
